Amelco presented its sportsbooks solutions at recent ICE North America
⏱ 2 min read
(Boston, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Maximilian Sutcliffe, Head of Product at Amelco, granted an interview to SoloAzar within ICE North America. He talked about the company, the markets in which it operates and the activities for the current year.
“Our company started in 2006. We started trading services for William Hill. We made a tennis trading solution and then we moved to managing trading services for Coral, Betfair and BetClic. Then, six years ago, we started offering sportsbooks, so they are operating now, currently using our software, and now we’ve moved into the turnkey sportsbooks solutions, where we offer everything from administrating services, bonusing, account management, and then we’ve also been into the social gaming, where we have a betting tournament product where customers compete against each other to see who can choose the best bet,” affirmed Sutcliffe.
He added: “It is our first time in ICE North America; we did the ICE New York as well. It’s been good. We’ve seen the people we wanted to see. Hopefully, if it keeps on growing, we’ll be coming back.”
When asked about the US market, he answered the following: “For me it’s difficult because it seems there’s a lot of confusion around how we will get customers. I think there was a social gaming stuff going on here, converting social content into regular cash-paying content. So that’s why we are moving into the social betting space. “
Sutcliffe continued: “In North America we are moving without customers so we are getting licenses in every single state, so we want to generate customers that want to launch that products, whether they are social or online. We also do a lot of casino integrations as well, so we are speaking with the tribes and we are speaking with a lot of Las Vegas casinos, so I hope we can move into the Vegas market as well. “
The firm will be present in ICE London. “We may be doing something in Latin America as well, and we have products and Brazil and Portugal, in India and Africa as well.” He concluded.
