(Athens).- The Hellenic Gaming Association (HGA) Summit was held on February 22, 2023, at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens. The event to discuss the future of online gaming in Greece was organized by the HGA in collaboration with CLEON Conferences & Communications. It was coordinated by journalist and lawyer Antonis Papagiannidis.

The conference featured five panels focusing on various aspects of the Greek online gaming market.
The first panel, “Greek Online Gaming Market – Vision for 2025,” presented current market data and discussed international trends in the industry.
The second panel, “Taxation – How Much is Too Much?,” examined the impact of current tax policies on the sustainability of existing operators and discussed solutions for improving competitiveness in the IT sector.
The third panel, “Investment Opportunities & Challenges,” explored potential investment opportunities in the Greek online gaming market.
The fourth panel, “Future of Online Gaming Regulation in Greece,” discussed the regulatory pipeline, best practices from abroad, together with compliance and policing of illegal gambling.
The fifth panel, “Sustainable Gambling – The Middle Road,” focused on the implementation of rules to ensure responsible gambling.
The HGA Summit provided a platform for industry leaders, operators, and regulators to discuss key issues in the Greek online gaming market and explore potential solutions for promoting responsible and sustainable gambling.
