(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).-In this interview, Head of Partnerships at Onlyplay Anna Serheieva talks about the novelties they presented at ICE Barcelona, analyzes the top trends in the gaming industry and reveals the company's plans for this year.

Anna Serheieva, Head of Partnerships at Onlyplay, describes the performance of the company at ICE Barcelona 2025

After a successful time at ICE Barcelona, Anna  Serheieva, Head of Partnerships at Onlyplay, tells us about her satisfaction for the performance and explains that “Our experience at ICE Barcelona 2025 was truly exceptional. Participation in this event allowed us to refresh the vision of how the market evolves, together with our partners plan the directions we develop this year,  showcase our latest innovations and products, and receive valuable feedback. The vibrant atmosphere, high quality networking opportunities and interest in our offerings made this event extremely productive and inspiring”.

What innovations did you present and which were the markets that were most interested in your proposal?
"At ICE Barcelona, we showcased our groundbreaking TapGame™ mechanics and Provably Fair low Mb consumption crash games like CosmoX and GoalX, both of which redefine player engagement with their interactive and transparent gameplay.

TapGame™, in particular, stands out by generating eight times more player actions than traditional slots, significantly enhancing both engagement and profitability. While Latin America and Europe remained key markets showing strong interest in our offerings, Africa emerged as a new and exciting discovery for us, with a noticeable surge in curiosity about our games. And no surprise,  since the range of our solutions fulfill the specific needs of this market"

Key trends to the future of the gaming industry

What trends that you believe will mark the near future of sector?
“The near future of the industry will be shaped by several key trends. One of the most significant is the growth of the innovations in game mechanics, as players increasingly seek interactive experiences where their actions affect the outcome - a concept that aligns perfectly with skill based features and tap games. Additionally, the shift to mobile devices is becoming more prominent, making lightweight, fast-loading games such as our ultra-lightweight crash game series an important part of the market”.

And added “Another defining key is to approach game creation with the deep knowledge of the needs of the audience and clients,  meaning players themselves and casino operators,  who deliver the games to the players. If  we think about what would make the experience of interaction between them better, we provide a high-quality product that delivers! It is obvious that the needs of the player and the casino differ. The player wants to entertain,  the casino wants to deliver a variety of entertaining options to their audience and to reach a sustainable operation and growth of their business. The success lies in the ability to satisfy these with one solution taking into account tiny details,  like tastes to visuals and themes, game dynamics and features of the specific audience, as well as the ability of the game to load fast and retain interest and engagement, within the confines of the responsible game approach, and so on.”

How did you perceive the impact of ICE Barcelona for the LATAM region?
“ICE Barcelona reaffirmed LATAM’s pivotal role in the global gaming industry. Operators and partners from the region showed keen interest in tap games and crash games and lightweight formats that resonate with LATAM's strong betting culture. The event showed us that the  bridges for collaboration remain open, keeping the opportunities to generate the revenue, and all the regulation stuff is only a step to the new quality of the market that has a demand for online entertainment, its regional needs to fulfill”.

To finish, What are the upcoming events you will be attending?
2This year, we target IGB in London and SBC in Lisbon, and plan to participate in key industry events. As we continue to expand , these exhibitions are the great opportunities to address our latest innovations to the market, and network with partners around the world, collecting feedback on new and existing products,  and working consistently on brand and product awareness. Every such event is the advantage to be at the same page and to evolve efficiently in the industry. Stay tuned - there's more to come!"
