(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Jessica Luna, IGT Senior Director Sales, LatAm, granted an interview to SoloAzar about the participation of the company at the latest edition of Peru Gaming Show. She showed her satisfaction about the experience of meeting customers in person again, and talked about the best-in-class portfolio showcased at the event.
What did the company's participation in PGS consist of?
The Peru Gaming Show was a wonderful, productive and energizing event for IGT. We welcomed many valued customers in our booth and had plenty of opportunities to demonstrate our latest games and solutions. A highlight of our booth was most certainly our expanded multi-level progressive (MLP) portfolio. In particular, our customers were highly impressed with the Prosperity Link and Egyptian Link games and our eye-catching Peak family of cabinets.
How did you experience the show and what were the highlights?
It was wonderful to be meeting with customers in person for the Peru Gaming Show. Over the last two years, our in-person events were somewhat restricted, so returning to a more typical trade show environment was very welcomed, as it enabled meaningful customer interactions. As always, we value any opportunity to showcase our regional portfolio given our deep commitment to our customers’ growth and game performance throughout Peru. Our product, sales and research teams have dedicated significant resources to creating the ideal games and configurations for the Peruvian market. Based on our customers’ reactions, it’s evident they have been successful.
Peru is one of the most important markets in Latam, What is your position in the market and what are your goals for the country for the rest of the year?
Peru has been a critical market for IGT for a long time. We have a large team in the region and have many important and valued relationships with local operators. For the rest of 2022, we’ll maintain our focus on our customers’ growth and placement of our latest games and cabinets in the various gaming venues. In addition, we have a highly specialized team that will help our customers ensure that they have the ideal configurations and banking strategies in place for maximum performance. We also have several customer events planned for Latin America and we’ll do all that we can to make them special and productive for all our guests.
A project to regulate online gaming in Peru continues to advance. How do you think the law will influence your company's activity and the sector in general?
As a global, end-to-end company, IGT always pays close attention to gaming expansion worldwide. We are uniquely positioned and qualified to participate in new markets, however we do not allow the prospect of new markets to interfere with our customers’ interests or our short and mid-term goals. The portfolio that we demonstrated at PGS is best-in-class and presently, we’re focused on propelling our customers’ growth through those products.
