(Sofia).- At an official ceremony hosted by the Black&White Club, part of the Palms Royale Sofia complex, the annual BEGE awards for achievements in the gaming and entertainment industry were given in the presence of senior management officials from the leading companies in the industry.
The annual BEGE Awards are part of the programme of BEGE, the largest annual meeting of gaming industry professionals in Europe – manufacturers and suppliers, land-based and online operators, affiliates, payment service providers, media and associations. The organizer of BEGE 2023 is the Association of the Gaming Industry in Bulgaria. Parallel to BEGE 2023, the Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS) is taking place, as world-renowned speakers are discussing important issues regarding the future of the industry such as regulations, digital marketing, gamification and artificial intelligence, among others topics.
Companies, organizations and individuals who have contributed the most to the positive development of the gaming industry over the past year were distinguished and awarded in 22 categories during the BEGE Awards 2023.
Twenty-two crystal statuettes in separate categories were distributed, including Casino Management System of the Year, Online Platform of the Year, Notable Contribution of the Year, Online Game of the Year, etc. This year, representatives from senior management of competing operators, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of gaming content joined the ceremony.
"In recent years, there has been a tendency for Bulgaria to emerge as a technological hub for foreign companies. This contributes greatly to the development of the national economy in many different aspects. We believe that in order to become even more attractive on the market, it is vital to create good conditions for companies, as well as to celebrate their successes. So dear winners, let us celebrate your success together”, said Angel Iribozov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of the Gaming Industry in Bulgaria and initiator of the BEGE exhibition.
