(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mateo Lenoble, Betradar’s Sales Director for South America, was interviewed by SoloAzar during the Peru Gaming Show. There he spoke about the products presented by the company, including a special virtual game for the World Cup.

Betradar presented its bespoke sports betting products at Peru Gaming Show

"We are presenting our range of sports betting products, including live odds, virtual games and also our heavyweight live streaming portfolio," said Mateo Lenoble.

Then he added: "For the World Cup, we developed a bespoke version of our award-winning virtual football product, which includes all the qualified teams, all in the actual groups that they were drawn in. Then every one and a half hours there is a new World Cup, and then a live statistics center, that informs you about everything that is happening in the World Cup, both before, during and after the game. If your country didn’t win the real one, maybe there will be a virtual version we can transmit that sees your country lift the trophy!"

Lenoble felt the show continued to show development and growing interest. "This is the fourth year we are here and whenever we come, we see more and more serious entrants, discussions and opportunities. Both yesterday and today has been very interesting. Peru is a truly fascinating market and is really interested in understanding the sports betting opportunity, but they are not alone in the region. The conference agenda, which we contributed to as well, also presented a rich exploration of what is on the horizon for the continent".

When asked about the sports betting bill, he said there was still a lot of work to be done in terms of regulation. "It is interesting to see how in all markets this topic is being talked about and a great deal of the those discussions are referencing the Colombian experience. I think it's hard work for the regulator but I am in no doubt that there will be rich benefits."

Regarding the profile of the Peruvian bettor, he noted the following: "The betting market in Peru is very good. The punters have a very good knowledge of the bets and are football fans. Although we at Betradar offer more than 50 sports, soccer always rules, and in the same is true across South America, where it is a very important sport. We see that the Peruvian customer is very enthusiastic, both with betting at points of sale and with online opportunities.”

Then he took stock of the company this year: "We started the year very well; but we still have a lot of room for growth. In Colombia, which is a market that is already regulated, we have almost 100% of the operators working with us, which is extremely positive and there are still many more entrants coming into the market. In other countries like Paraguay, and in some provinces of Argentina, we are also starting to make encouraging inroads. We see that the region is growing and that is very good for our business. And there is still so much potential across all the countries here. "

The next show for Betradar will be G2E Las Vegas, like every year, and then we will go to SAGSE in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Finally he announced: "We are creating a new virtual tennis game that enables inplay betting. All our existing virtual products are currently pre-game, and the virtual content shows the highlights of the best plays. This product is completely different. It is a game that lasts from an hour and a half to two hours, like a real tennis match, and you will be able to bet throughout the game. On each point, on each game, on each set. We can´t wait to roll this out to our clients worldwide and of course the Latin American region”
