Casino gaming sector strengthens in the Dominican Republic
⏱ 3 min read
(Dominican Republic) .- The Dominican Republic continues its expansion in the area of gaming and, particularly, with the updating and professionalization of gaming casinos.
As in other jurisdictions in the Caribbean, Latin America and the world, the online game and the development of lotteries and other forms of gambling rapidly penetrate our market. Our sector feels deeply committed to the country and through the quality service that we strive to provide every day to all our customers, we collaborate with the promotion of tourism in the Dominican Republic (DR), which is one of the main sources of development.
With the support of both regulatory authorities and operators aware of the industry, current trends in our country are simultaneously committed to greater attention to aspects of Social Responsibility such as the topics of Money Laundering and Financing in which we have been immersed from Some time ago, the Responsible Gaming Project and modernization of the current regulations. Projects, the latter, that we promote and support from the Dominican Association of Casinos de Juego (ADCJ, INC).
The use of best practices, continuous improvement and professionalization of our sector is a task that we must face every day and that is why we enthusiastically support the holding of events that respond and provide support to the needs and expectations of the Sector Casinos in the Dominican Republic.
At the same time, events that allow us to identify progress, opportunities for improvement and areas where casino operators can develop their businesses.
This is the case of three (3) extraordinary events of relevance that will have the active participation of expert professionals in the area, representatives of the regulatory sector and, of course, our association. All of them come to strengthen our sector during this year.
The ADCJ has placed on its agenda-calendar and with emphasis promotes:
CYCLE OF TALKS "ALL ABOUT MONEY LAUNDERING", Organized and directed by the law firm Sadhala-Melgen to be held in three sessions during July 30, September 3 and October 1 in Santo Domingo. The participation of several of our executives in the discussion sessions and panels ensures that our sector will be well represented. GET IN PUNTA CANA 2018. DR GAMING SUMMIT 2018. This already traditional event, which has been taking place in other focal countries of the region, brings together the sector to discuss and update on current professional and market issues as well as product exhibition and various networking events of the sector. It is organized and promoted by Mrs. Elizabeth Leiva who already knows our market and has been present in the DR with two previous events in the sector. It will be held in Santo Domingo on November 14 and 15. Registration information at www.cgssummit.com
The support for these events, the active participation and the invitation to be part of them, are of great value for the ADCJ and we are sure will help strengthen the sector, the Games Industry and our Association.
Strengthening, growth are our objectives. The necessary professional updating and sharing ideas is the basis for this, and the celebration of these events is the cornerstone for this.
As our slogan "United, We will be bigger" says.
