(Florianopolis).- The Deputy Marcus Vinicius de Almeida, confirmed his participation at the CGSBrasil 2023 next 5 and 6 september in Florianópolis.

CGSBrasil 2023 will be held on 5 and 6 September with the presence of MP Marcus Vinicius de Almeida.

The State of Rio Grande do Sul is closely following the debate on the regulation of sports betting. In this area, the Subcommittee for the Regulation of Sports Betting, created within the Legislative Assembly, will present a suggestion for state legislation on the subject.

The announcement was made by Deputy Marcus Vinícius de Almeida, who is the driving force behind this space. The announcement was made after a meeting with the president of the Brazilian Institute of Legal Gambling, Magno José Santos D'Souza, as a guest.

During the mid-July session, the deputies aimed to understand the context of the new market in the country and the revenue potential.

In this context, Santos D'Souza explained that the expected turnover of the sector in Brazil is approximately R$ 150,000m (USD 31,215m). Marcus Vinícius spoke of the market opportunities with regularisation. "In the past, we struggled a lot to attract vehicle assemblers to Rio Grande do Sul because we knew about their revenue potential. Today we have to anticipate the moves to welcome the iGaming sector because the perspective is significant. These are investments, jobs and opportunities," he said.
