Day 2: 2024 GREF Conference held in Malta

(Malta).- Day 2 of the GREF Conference began with an enlightening presentation by two esteemed French researchers, Mrs. Marie Redon and Mr. Boris Ledeay, from Sorbonne Paris Nord University. For the first time, the conference welcomed regulators from outside Europe, with American, Asian and African regulators providing valuable international perspectives on gambling regulation. 

Day 2: 2024 GREF Conference held in Malta

The duo delved into the fascinating field of the geography of gambling, shedding light on how different states have shaped their territorial organisation to accommodate and regulate various forms of gambling.

Their fresh perspective has provided insights for gambling regulators, offering a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics at play in the gambling industry.



Today featured a series of insightful presentations highlighting how regulators are adapting to the evolving landscape of the gambling industry to ensure a safer and fairer environment.

On the first day, there were stimulating discussions and dynamic sessions, where attendees gathered at the Malta Maritime Museum for an evening of camaraderie and informal networking.
