DLV presented its online games at ICE

What are you introducing in this edition of ICE?

First of all, we are presenting our new 20-game multi-game that is a very innovative product, very new for the company. The best thing about this product is that it can work with jackpot and without jackpot and for that you only have to change the configuration when initializing the machine, with nothing additional. Another thing in this multigame is that it is full HD, we have also incorporated multi denomination. In addition, the player can choose 3 speed modes: normal, fast and accelerated, so there are more configurable options.

Our pride this year is that we are presenting our online games. The 30 most popular DLV games now available online. These games can be integrated into an online platform, but we are planning to develop our own platform.

And we are also presenting our cabinet, the novelty of last year DIAMOND Z, which earlier was available with two screens and now features the third one as a topper which can be used for promotional purposes.

How do you see the trade show this year?

This show gets bigger every year and it is impossible to walk it all. But yes, very large, very busy, many people ... we never complain about the assistance and visitors to our stand. It is all very well.

How do you see the European market regarding DLV products?

We always see the market as a very good, especially in Latvia, which is our domestic market. Europe has many regulations, many countries, but we do have certification obtained in international laboratories, so we have everything necessary to work here and we are already doing it in many markets. In Ireland, for example, we are doing very well.

How do you see DLV positioned in Europe?

We are growing. I could not give a number because I would have to compare us with other companies and we are different, each company has its strengths and weaknesses, we always develop, we try to keep pace with technologies, with changing and very technological world of the gaming industry. The online product is a step in this direction and we will continue growing in this industry sector.

How does the company adapt to this new style of player?

Players like sophisticated games, something more complicated, more original. There are many brands and high competition, but, being a small company, we have our own style and produce our own original software with a kind of Latvian approach, and the truth is that many players love it. We do not make replicas, we try to do something very ours.

So you do not adapt the product to each market?

We try to follow the path of a universal product. Next year will be our 25th anniversary in the industry, so we have the necessary experience and already know what the players of different countries like; there are cases when we make some changes, but in general the approach of having a universal product has served us well.

How do you see the future of the industry globally?

We always cherish the hope that eventually the whole industry will be regularized, because there are still gray markets and there are markets where gambling is forbidden, which we cannot quite understand, because many of such markets are facing the problem of clandestine games. We are convinced that gaming should be legal, but supervised and we always set Peru as an example, as this market is very well regulated and the authorities are on their way to regulating online games as well. And we think it’s an example the industry should follow.

How is the gaming industry in Eastern Europe?

In Latvia, for example, games are very popular. The requirement of our government is that by the year 2019 we have all the machines connected to their online system so that they can be monitored.

What are the company's plans for this year?

The first thing we are going to do is commercialize our new product that is very good and beautiful. We are already certifying it, we always do it for Latvia first and then for Peru because these are our two key markets but we also do transfers to comply with the legislations of different jurisdictions. We will also be developing new products, adding new games to the online proposal and, as I have already mentioned, making our platform. So, yes, the plans are very ambitious but we are convinced of their successful realization.
