(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- In an extense interview, Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Gaming Operations at Konami Gaming, Inc., shares insights into the company’s strategic presence at Peru Gaming Show 2025, highlighting their latest gaming technologies and regional market vision.

What motivated your company to participate in this edition of the Peru Gaming Show? How would you describe your overall experience as an exhibitor at the event?
Konami Gaming’s focus for PGS has been to connect with longtime customers from across the region, in order to learn how we can deliver more value and support to their business. And we also look forward to meeting new contacts, and sharing the latest Konami has to offer, especially as it relates to our iGaming offering.

The products presented
What are the highlights you have presented at this show?
There are several key slots we’re delivering for omni-channel release right now, with a lot of anticipation. Ru Yi Wheel Panda has recently become available for iGaming, in addition to being available for land-based casinos. This Asia-inspired game includes a wheel feature, random multipliers, and free games, which players find very rewarding.
K-Pow! Pig is also arriving for casino land-based and online enjoyment. This is an original linked progressive series arriving to Konami’s DIMENSION cabinet line, as well as our RGS with HTML5 delivery—compatible across smartphones, tablets, and desktop devices. K-Pow! Pig has comical elements, with a flying superhero pig to help advance the player through various win experiences. The game’s signature K-Pow! Pig feature includes a “bonus in the bonus” that gives players the chance to level up their prizes for even larger payouts.
And what about the Land -Based Games?
In addition to online games, we presented our latest land-based games at PGS. One land-based game that is attracting particular attention for its innovative bonus is Bingo Frenzy Stampede. It uniquely combines a popular slot credit prize mechanic with a 5-in-a-row bingo feature, giving players the chance to shout “Bingo” many times over in the same game bonus. This linked progressive stands apart for its high-energy animations and personified bingo dauber, serving as the game’s hero character. Bingo Frenzy Stampede has demonstrated product performance as one of the industry’s top indexing games according to Eilers & Krejcik Gaming. And another high-performing game that attracted a lot of attention at PGS is Charms Full Link. It combines a credit prize feature and a lucky triple bonus mechanic, while debuting an original Lucky Kicker mechanic. The Lucky Kicker is an additional independent reel position outside the standard reel frame. This reel can help extend the feature for players, while giving them the chance to win bonus collections on their credit prizes.
How was the reception from the public and potential partners or clients? What kind of feedback did you receive?
There is good excitement for the newest game releases. Konami is bringing a special creativity in art styles and play mechanics to the market, and we see both players and properties reacting positively.

The Peruvian market
What value do you think PGS contributes to the development of the gaming industry in Peru?
Events like PGS provide a great opportunity to build strong bonds in the industry, while also giving casino professionals a good way to try the newest game releases firsthand.
How do you see the evolution of the Peruvian market compared to others in the Andean region?
Peru’s entry into the regulated online gaming space plays an important part in the future of the Peruvian gaming industry. It helps put the market in a position for long-term responsible growth and advancement.
Finally, Do you have expansion plans or new projects specifically focused on Peru or neighbouring countries?
Konami is invested in the growth of regulated iGaming across Latin America, including Peru. We’re actively supporting markets with more and more original content each month, combined with our overall support as a reliable and responsible long-time partner.
