(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- EGT Interactive Business Development Manager Irina Rusimova was interviewed by SoloAzar at recent ENADA show, where the firm presented its Hot Series titles for the Italian market. “We were very excited about the 31st edition of ENADA, as it was our first time as exhibitors,” she said.
“For us it was important to take a stand and present our complete portfolio of more than 150 casino video slots and table games to the Italian market. Once again, the main emphasis was on the top performing titles from the portfolio – the Hot series. Our research of the market so far shows, that the classical vision and traditional characteristics of our titles will be well – received by the Italian players”,Rusimova affirmed.
“We also managed to build brand awareness and positively impact the visitors and the exhibitors, who took part in ENADA. In addition to that, our team succeeded to establish a fruitful personal contact with industry professionals, current and future partners as well as with passionate players”, she added.
When asked about her opinion about the Italian show, she answered the following: “For sure there is a trend of expansion of the exhibition, which is an indicator of the growing industry as a whole. The number of the representatives of the online sector was bigger in comparison with previous years, which is another indicator of the growing interest and importance of the online in this specific market. We consider this exhibition to have a great impact on our business, because of the many business opportunities, interesting meetings and future successful partnerships. The event was awesome, hosting and connecting different players from the industry, such as: platform providers, aggregators, concessionairesand content providers.”
Then, she remarked the important position of the company in the European market. “With representation in most of Europe, we can confirm rather strong presence of EGT Interactive’s protfolio of games. There are several factors that additionally contribute to the popularity and interest towards our portfolio of games – on one hand, the synergy with EGT’s landbased is an advantage for us as a provider of portfolio that has actually been for many years in the regulated Europen markets, making it known to the players; and on the other – the classical characteristics of the portfolio, being one of our most prominent feature, appeal to the real players – the ones that are after the real winnings. It is also important to mention our policy for entrance in new regulated markets as one of the main points in our company strategy for growth and development, thus currently we hold number of licenses among which Malta, Bulgaria, Romania as well as game certifications for Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, Croatia, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Sweden.
“The Italian market is the next in line in our strategy for development. Being one of the biggest online markets in Europe, strategically, it is an important milestone for us and thus the reason why it was so important to participate at ENADA. We are looking forward to entering the market with some strong partners very soon and we can confirm that we are fully prepared to provide the best player experience with a first batch of translated in Italian and localized for the market, most prominent titles from our portfolio of games,” she commented.
When consulted about the plans for the current year, she said: “One of our main goals is to saturate the Italian market with our fascinating gaming content. This is why the 31st edition of ENADA was very important for us. Simultaneously we are adding new jurisdictions to our portfolio, in order to ensure that our company is growing constantly. And last but not least, we are developing new games and we are always trying to catch up with the online ecosystem and the changing customer needs.”
With regard to the current situation of the gaming sector in Italy, Rusimova said that Italy is a great opportunity for EGT Interactive to grow their business, with Italy being the second biggest market in Europe. “The environment is favorable in terms of volumes, number of players and number of operators. We have to take into account the needs and the behavior of the Italian players, in order to provide the operators with top performing content.”
Considering the situation of the tax system in the country, she pointed: “The Gaming business is a dynamic environment and thanks to our flexibility we succeed to be one of the most successful casino suppliers worldwide. Of course, the tax reality affects the sector in terms of commercial conditions, but this is not going to have a substantial impact of our business. As regards modification, we would say, that although we are an interested party, this a matter of political decision. As a provider, operating on number of regulated territories we respect the regulatory framework.”
Finally, when asked about the prohibition of advertising of bookmakers in the country, she concluded: “Of course, the advertising activities have a strong impact on our business and the behavior of the players, how much they play and how often. But during the long years in the industry wehave learned to turn the disadvantages into an opportunity. That’s why we consider that the prohibition gives us the incentive to be even better, to develop our products even further, in order to be more competitive and to gain loyal players.”
