ENADA 2025: Andrea Ramberti on Innovation, International Growth, and the Future of Gaming in Southern Europe
⏱ 3 min read
(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Soloazar interviews Andrea Ramberti, Leisure & Entertainment Division Exhibition Manager of Italian Exhibition Group, who gave details about ENADA 2025, which is being held this week in Rimini Expo Centre, Italy.
ENADA 2025: Goals and expectations
“As in previous years, the prime objective is to confirm Enada Primavera's position as the industry’s reference marketplace in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean area, as well as a meeting place for professionals and companies, both Italian and foreign, leaders in the production of physical supports, technologies, spare parts, and services for land-based gaming, payment and security systems, and software for online gaming," explains Andrea Ramberti.
"And in the 2025 edition, we will renew the initiative dedicated to spotlighting innovation, proposed by the exhibiting companies, for which we have dedicated an award, and represented by emerging start-ups and scale-ups. The Innovation District aims to be a privileged meeting point for the exchange of ideas and the creation of new opportunities, providing answers to a constantly and rapidly evolving industry.”
When asked about the specific characteristics of the 37th ENADA edition, Ramberti said that, this year, the number of foreign companies participating in the show will be double compared to the previous edition, with exhibitors coming from China, Cyprus, Israel, Malta, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Taiwan.
Beer&Food Attraction – The Eating Out Experience Show
Ramberti added: "An interesting new feature will be the partial overlap with Beer&Food Attraction – The Eating Out Experience Show, an IEG event that includes public establishments among its clients, a target shared by both Enada and even more so by RAS.”
He assured that the co-presence of the two events in Rimini Expo Centre offers visitors new opportunities and business exchanges. “Just think of darts in pubs, vintage games like pinball and foosball that are still very popular, children's games in food courts at shopping malls or in outdoor seating areas of pizzerias, gelaterias, and restaurants. Or even the other way round, when you consider the growing food & beverage offerings in places like bowling alleys and other entertainment venues. Not just games, but also payment systems, security systems, and management tools. Then, of course there is the social aspect that connects games and food sharing. In an increasingly digital society, physical meeting spaces are becoming essential points of socialisation.”
A competitive pinball tournament
“Over the three days of Enada Primavera, the 4th edition of JJP Pinball Fest Enada by Luxury Games will also take place, a competitive pinball tournament organised by Luxury Games, the exclusive distributor of American-made pinball machines in Italy, in collaboration with the amateur sports association Ifpa Italia. The event is a chance for participants to earn points for the World Pinball Player Rankings (WPPR) and also serves as the third stage of the 2025 National Circuit ICS – Italian Championship Series,” Ramberti remarked.
Trends for the gambling market
“The emerging trend shows an increase in new multichannel gaming offerings, with digital complementing land-based options”, continues Andrea Ramberti. “Overall, at the show, we see how companies are adding new features to enhance the user experience with more dynamic and engaging gameplay, a lot of creativity, and attention to detail. On top of that, there is a continuous evolution of management systems, the introduction of new cashless solutions, and increasingly sophisticated control and security systems.
Even companies in the amusement industry – referring to RAS – Rimini Amusement Show – take advantage of the show to give a sneak peek of their new games on the market, with innovative solutions that combine design, functionality, and maximum reliability. All the exhibiting companies, including several from abroad, will present new products and technologies. The non-cash gaming industry is quite different from the gaming industry, but in Rimini, it always attracts many clients due to the high concentration of game rooms, theme parks, and entertainment venues for all ages along the Riviera and beyond”.
Current situation of the gambling industry in Italy and Europe
“We hope that the new regulations affecting the Italian market and beyond will provide the answers that businesses in this industry have long been waiting for," said Ramberti.
"We will discuss this in depth during the conferences scheduled throughout the three days of Enada Primavera. Trade events are always important opportunities for taking stock of the situation. They don't just represent the reference marketplace for a specific industry, they also act as catalysts for all the interested parties within the supply chain (producers, buyers, industry media, associations, institutions), which is elevated and promoted at its best thanks to everyone's contribution. This is why we encourage all operators to be game-changers at Enada and RAS, to build the future of the industry together,” he concluded.
