(Peru).- After the forum on sports betting and online games was announced in PGS 2018, it was thought that the time would be too short for a high-level event, however, after the objective of the event had spread, the expectation grew dramatically among the users, specialists and experts in this matter, who finally, await the arrival of the long-awaited day.
The representatives of operators and manufacturers of the gaming sector will be privileged guests to listen to the dissertation of prestigious speakers, conformed by, Manuel San Roman - Mincetur, Karen Sierra - GLI, Percy Wilman - Genius Sports, Juan José Matense - Meridiam, Carlos Fonseca - Estudio Varela & Fonseca, Jorge Bravo - Estudio Picon & Asociados, Lorenzo Johnson - Virtual Soft, all of them hope to arrive at the D-day to start the discussion and analysis of what the new Law will be, as it is public knowledge, the norm that would regulate Sports betting and online games in Peru are in the hands of government commissions for review and subsequent opinion.
Doing a bit of memory remember that the Peruvian market was the first to achieve the formalization of the face-to-face game with a law that became a reference for other countries in Latin America, the implementation of that law allowed a critical mass of slot machines in exploitation, today there are almost 80 thousand machines operating, and all of them duly registered and connected online with the supervising entities such as Sunat and Mincetur. In this context and if it is possible to approve this new law on sports betting and online games on the fly, would make Peru as the model market in terms of regulation since it would have achieved formalize all the fronts of the game, face-to-face, sports and virtual betting.
The forum that the next 22 and 23 will take place at the Hotel Estelar is a unique opportunity to be aware of the scope of the new law, it will also be the occasion to interact among the gaming agents as well as to articulate experiences with the sponsors, Genius Sports - Betgenius, BMM, Doradobet, Sportbet, BAUM, FLG and Casino Magazine who will be present with their respective representatives.
