G2E 2024: Exploring Opportunities in Gaming with Carlos Carrión, VP of International Sales at SlotCycle

During the interview, we addressed questions about the key message they want to convey to new customers and partners, the new features implemented to enhance the experience at G2E 2024, the overall response to their booth and the innovations they are adopting to adapt to the US market.

What innovations have you incorporated this year to enhance the visitor experience at G2E 2024? Could you highlight any particular aspect of your stand? What response did you get overall?

At G2E 2024, we introduced several exciting innovations to enhance the visitor experience. We showcased a video explaining what SlotCycle is and the buying options we offer for slot machines: Refurbished, Tested & Working, and As-Is. These videos were also featured on our LinkedIn page and website. Additionally, we offered live demonstrations of our digital marketplace, which now includes advanced analytics tools, and tours of our 35,000-square-foot facilities in Las Vegas.

The face-to-face connection was very important for us this year to explain SlotCycle's mission and the different services we offer. We engaged visitors with interactive Q&A sessions and received invaluable feedback. We were busy all three days talking to colleagues, customers, and friends about our innovative approach to managing the lifecycle of slot machines.

We were very pleased with the positive feedback from our visitors, receiving great comments about our line of business and our focus on international markets. Many attendees expressed interest in potential partnerships, and we look forward to exploring these opportunities as we continue to grow and innovate.

What innovations are you implementing to adapt to the evolving US market?

Well, our digital marketplace is an innovative and easier way to buy and sell casino games and parts. Additionally, we provide repair services, storage and fulfillment, training, and other related services in the gaming industry.

We are proud to report a significant increase in transactions since launching our marketplace, with numerous satisfied customers who appreciate our commitment to quality and service. It is especially important to mention that we have agreements with gaming manufacturers that enable us to provide the right games for Latin America, complete with the appropriate denominations and jurisdictional approvals. Casinos do not need to use games designed for other jurisdictions when we can offer and find the right games for them.

Additionally, our prices are fair for this region, and we can sell machines according to your needs. We offer slot machines in three different conditions: Refurbished, Tested & Working, and As-Is.

We are already selling machines in Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Paraguay, and the Caribbean, as well as to some customers in Asia and Europe. Similarly, we are working with several corporate casinos in the USA, Canada, and Mexico to sell their used equipment.

Closing the interview, Carlos Carrión highlighted that their short-term goal is to become the refurbished slot provider of choice in Latin America. He further underlined the company's commitment “to exceptional customer service and our deep understanding of the local market, which enables us to tailor our offerings to meet specific needs.” He also mentioned the importance of product customisation and community feedback to continue improving its service: ‘we plan to expand the product range to include more options that cater to diverse customer preferences".
