(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Renato Bičič, Sales Director at Spintec, talked in exclusive with SoloAzar about the company participation at G2E 2017. “Many important casino operators from North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe were impressed by our comprehensive offer of compact and amphitheatre electronic table games”, he said.
What novelties did you bring to G2E?
Spintec showcased Aura amphitheater gaming solution and its Karma line of compact gaming solutions. Both gaming solutions offer a variety of games (Roulette, SicBo/Craps and Baccarat) and technologies (virtual, automated and live).
The two product lines, Aura and Karma, different in design and set-up concept, but at the same time offering outstanding gaming experience and comfort, distinguish Spintec from the competition. Spintec is unique in offering two product lines and therefore two different cabinets developed on different clients’ requirements – compact and amphitheatre gaming set-up. Both solutions are modular and offer virtually endless options of customisation. Our customers can choose from a wide range of premium wood and leather finishes.
What is your assessment on the presentation of the company in this edition of G2E?
The feed-back we received from the visitors was extremely positive, hence we are excited to launch our gaming solutions to the US market. Many important casino operators from North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe were impressed by our comprehensive offer of compact and amphitheatre electronic table games.
The visit of our stand was outstanding in numbers of current and potential customers’ visit, followed by placed orders and inquiries for our Karma compact solutions, as well as Aura amphitheatre gaming solutions. Last but not least, we already started the negotiations with strategic partners and distributors for the US market at the show. We have also received a very positive affirmation of further growth possibilities in Latin America.
What does G2E mean for the company?
G2E is an international gaming trade show »by the industry and for the industry«, where we had the opportunity to meet gaming executives, operators and other industry professionals, on the other hand the expo gave us the opportunity to re-confirm that the interest for ETGs is growing also in the US as we can observe elsewhere around the world. As mentioned before the show gave us the opportunity to meet with our valued clients from around the world, present our products to potential clients and clients-to-be as the show gathered many important operators on one place and at the same time.
What plans does the company have for the remainder of this year?
This year’s Spintec’s core investments are focused on product development and certification. One of the goals we have set for our company concerning product development is to broaden the selection of games on our ETGs.
Furthermore, we have invested in building a new facility providing 300-400 percent larger space capacities, as the current ones could not sustain company’s growth and development in the future. We are confident our own new building will incentivize growth, development and innovation of our products, raise motivation in our team and sustain expansion of our business.
In the coming year we plan a sales expansion to Australian and the US markets. We have also received a very positive affirmation of further growth possibilities in Latin America.
The main reason for our outstanding world-wide sales growth is Spintec’s flexibility, meaning that the product development and production for every single local market is based on in-depth study of market’s expectations, its needs and players’ behavior. Our product offering is adjusted to every single local market.
What are the next shows for the company?
Spintec products will be showcased at SAGSE show in Buenos Aires, Argentina and at MGS in Macao. Both shows will be held in November 2017. Our first show in 2018 will be ICE in London, followed by G2E Asia and G2E Las Vegas. Our products will be showcased on many other shows, such as Fer-Interazar in Madrid, Niga in Las Vegas, Irish Gaming show in Dublin, AGE in Sydney etc.
How does the company adapt to the new type of player, millenials?
Spintec is continuously observing and studying all groups of players, including the millennials. Our research shows that millennials are likely to play Electronic Table Games, as they tend to be non-confrontational, impersonal. Furthermore, Spintec’s ETGs attract millennials with responsive interface, multimedia interactive audio features, such as music at SicBo and Jackpot, which millennials find very entertaining. Various options of statistic’s previews and data analyses of previously played games challenge the millennials. Millennials are much more likely to participate in gambling-related activities if they feel that it tests their abilities in some way. Furthermore, they often want more control over the outcome. All innovative features that Spintec gaming solutions offer were well studied to challenge the millennials, as well as attract current players.
Do you think online gambling and sports betting are a competition or a complement to land-based gambling halls?
We don’t see online gambling as a direct competition, it is however a complement of land-based gambling. We are talking about two different technologies, two different styles of playing, but not necessarily about two different types of players. Online gambling can be an additional way of gambling, while land-based venues besides playing offer fun, interaction and much more, online gambling technology is non-confrontational, impersonal, anonymous. Land-based players care a lot about the casino ambient and atmosphere, while online players put on the top of their gambling priorities functionality of the game and the fact that they can play anytime and anywhere. Our research shows that a large percentage of people never switch from land-based gambling to online, and a smaller group uses both technologies.
