(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- GeWeTe GmbH, one of the world-wide leading companies in the area of cash handling systems was present at the 20th edition of the Perú Gaming Show (PGS) event, and SoloAzar interviewed its CEO Aristidis Tsikouras, who commented on their presence in this tradeshow being so positive for them.

GeWeTe participated in the PGS event in Lima, Peru, getting into the Peruvian and Latin American market.

What novelties did you present at this edition?

We present our solutions for casinos, betting shops and arcades. GeWeTe is one of the most important manufacturers of cash handling systems worldwide and  I don't know of any other company in this business area that has such a large range of products as we do. That's why our motto has been for over 30 years. “The perfect solution for every need!”

Why did you decide to present this specific service in the LATAM market?

We are sure that our devices will meet the needs of operators in South America. With our 30 years of experience in cash handling and with more than 60,000 installed systems worldwide, we are sure that we will fulfill this. By the way, we delivered devices to banks in South America 20 years ago, which are still in operation.

What were the highlights of this 20th edition of PGS (in terms of novelties, for example, the networking day, or any specific topic of the conferences)?

For me personally, it was my first show in Peru and I was very positively surprised by the high number of visitors and the interest in our systems, but since last year we have had our own staff in Peru who look after the customers in Peru and South America. There was a great interest in our solutions for the casino and sports betting sectors. Especially our bestseller for casinos, our Cash- Center Premium, met with great interest during the show.

Did you find Perú as a potential market for your products and/or services?

Yes, of course, that's why we invested in our own staff in Peru last year and have already carried out the first installations.

But not only in Peru, but also in Latin America.

Next challenges in the Latam market?

Our goal is to clearly address the Latin American market. With 30 years experience in cash handling, everything we undertake is developed, designed and assembled at our head office in Mechernich, Germany. These include change machines, redemption kiosks, automated pay stations, ticket machines and deposit systems. This has made GeWeTe one of the leading cash handling suppliers worldwide. Our knowledge in conjunction with our suppliers provides appropriate solutions for checking, issuing and recycling banknotes and coins, together with the processing and generating of tickets and vouchers plus the acceptance of bank cards. All relevant aspects of security are always our main priority thereby, as cash handling is a matter of trust, and trust requires the highest competence. We also offer all these also in Latin America.

Next events you will attend?

We are represented at all important shows worldwide. Also, in many coming shows in Europe in autumn, such as the trade fair in Bucharest, in Sofia, but also in October at the G2E in Las Vegas, where we are also expecting a large number of customers from Latin America.
