GLI Spotlights "What's Next" at IAGR 2025

(Toronto).- GLI invites the global gaming community to Toronto for IAGR 2025, taking place October 20–23 at the Westin Harbour Castle. Kicking off the event, GLI will host its annual seminar on Monday morning, offering expert-led sessions focused on resilient regulation and the future of gaming compliance.

To open IAGR, GLI will stage its annual GLI Seminar on Monday, Oct. 20 from 9 AM to Noon.
These three sessions, presented by three global experts, are guaranteed to give you valuable insights and interesting things to think about regarding resilient regulation. Look at this lineup:
• 9:00 AM, “Closing the Cybersecurity Gap in Gaming.” Gus Fritschie, Senior VP, Information Security Services, Bulletproof, a GLI Company, examines the current state of cybersecurity regulations in the gaming sector, the GLI Gaming Security Framework (GLI-GSF), and common failure points and explore actionable steps to strengthen defenses across the industry.
• 9:45 AM, “Navigating the Future of iGaming Compliance.” GLI EMEIA Vice President of Government & Regulatory Affairs Devon Dalbock presents best practices for balancing innovation, market growth, and compliance in emerging iGaming markets and challenges driven by mobile penetration, youthful demographics, and technologies like AI, blockchain, and VR/AR.
• 10:45 AM, “Technology Disruptors.” Chief Revenue Officer Ian Hughes leads in-depth discussions about emerging technologies and the potential benefits and risks they bring. Specifically, this presentation will discuss Mandatory Carded Play, Microservices, AI, Cloud Based solutions and the impact such technologies have on Responsible Gaming, Privacy, Security and AML/CTF.
