Golden Race presented its live games and its virtual games on demand on CGS

(Cancun, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Julio César Duque, Golden Race Director for Latin America granted an interview to SoloAzar during CGS show. He commented about the latest developments presented at the show, the position of the firm in Latin America and the plans for the rest of the year.

“This year we presented live games and virtual games on demand, in which the player doesn’t have to wait 5 minutes to throw a bet. Instead, after making his own bet he can throw the bet, so when he is ready, he can play immediately,” Duque affirmed.
With regard to the position of the company, Duque commented: “Golden Race has concentrated, on the first stage of the company, on the development of the South American market, where we are very strong. Obviously in Peru and now with the regulation in Argentina, we will focus on that country, too. We also have expectations in Dominican Republic, Panama and Mexico. This is a process in which online gaming regulations are new and some of them are implementing virtual gaming. They are copying European regulations, where online gaming and sportsbook regulation includes virtual games, such as Argentina, or Colombia, where this is also being treated.” When consulted about the products that the firm presents in Mexico specifically, Duque affirmed that Golden Race has the same products as everywhere, “but here the regulation is a bit confusing towards the products that can be operated and the licenses granted. We trust a new and more standardized regulation with Latin American and European issues will come into force, where one can identify easily what can be operated and what cannot be operated. We think that, after the fact that Colombia was the first country in regulating online gaming, countries like Ecuador are also considering a possible regulation, and Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Panama are already trying to homologate the Colombian regulation. We expect Mexico has a regulation as such related to online gaming, sportsbooks and virtual gaming.”
Duque also said that one of the next steps for Golden Race is Brazil. “We have been assisting to San Pablo event for three years. We believe it is already in the final stage and this year we will assist, too. We expect that the companies that obtain the licenses may work with us because Brazil is the largest market in Latin America and the jewel of the crown that everyone wants, so we expect to participate on that market.”
The next show for the company is FADJA. When making an evaluation of CGS, Duque concluded: “Participation in CGS has really not been satisfactory because it had a low participation of operators. I think it would be better to explore these markets in more important cities with a greater number of operators.”
