Habanero brought its latest games and features to SiGMA

(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Vera Motto, Habanero Business Development Executive, spoke exclusively with SoloAzar after the latest edition of SiGMA. “This was the second time Habanero exhibited at SiGMA, and it’s proven to be an amazing opportunity to showcase the brand, raise our profile, and meet existing customers and new prospects”, she said.
What have you presented?
This year proved to be a point of celebration for the whole Habanero team as we unveiled the 100th addition to our gaming catalogue, following the launch of Colossal Gems, which we were delighted to present at SiGMA together with our latest games and features.
With the festive season around the corner, we also showcased Naughty Santa, our third Xmas slot, which comes hot on the heels of Santa’s Village and Happiest Christmas Tree from previous years.
How do you see the current edition of SIGMA?
SiGMA is an unmissable event in the iGaming calendar, both for business opportunities and that all-valuable brand exposure. This year’s iteration again proved to be a real winner, with the show floor absolutely packed. Despite recent difficulties, I believe that Malta is (and will remain) Europe’s key gaming hub for many years to come.
How important is for the Company to participate in a show like this?
This was the second time Habanero exhibited at SiGMA, and it’s proven to be an amazing opportunity to showcase the brand, raise our profile, and meet existing customers and new prospects. This year was our busiest ever, and testament to the fantastic growth and success we’ve had over the last year.
How do you evaluate the year for the company?
It’s safe to say 2019 has been a landmark year for us, both in terms of products and business growth. We’ve been releasing new games and solutions on a monthly basis, all of which have proven to be a hit with our customers. We’ve also signed a raft of commercial deals with the likes of Playtech, GAN, Sisal, BetVictor, further established ourselves in Italy, and most importantly, entered a wealth of new markets; including Lithuania, Croatia, the UK and the LatAm region – which will no doubt prove to be incremental in the year ahead.
What are the goals of the company for next year?
Our plan is to keep expanding our reach across Europe and South America. We now have regulatory approval across 16 countries, as well as a host of other certifications and licenses coming down the pipeline. Of course, hand in hand with that will be new markets, as well as our much-anticipated 2020 titles and innovative solutions that will keep our partners set through the year.
How do you see the evolution of the player? Does your Company accompany it?
In today’s digital era, players demand the best when it comes to quality and technology. We’ve developed our portfolio in line with the expectations of the new generation of customer; and consider ourselves pioneers in the HTML5 and gamification space. On top of that, we’ve also developed a new jackpot solution that I’m sure will do wonders for customer retention for all of our operator partners.
A core part of Habanero’s philosophy has always been to innovate while staying true to our business and product heritage that made us who we are. Innovation for innovation’s sake is never a good idea, and we ensure that every new product we bring to market not only sustains our existing products, but also offers the best quality gaming experience around.
