(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- José Salinas, LATAM Regional Sales Manager, Interblock, granted an interview to SoloAzar, regarding its participation in the recent Peru Gaming Show, the novelties that stand out in the Peruvian market and its consolidation in Latin America.

What did Interblock's participation in PGS consist of?
Our goal at PGS, like every year, is mainly to be able to meet with our customers and industry operators and, of course, showcase our latest innovations in machines.
This year we have exhibited our GOLDEN BALL ROULETTE, presented in our Ministar line. It is a highly innovative side bet, with an impressive animation, a stylized design that increases the entertainment and increases the control of the game, generating a tremendous expectation to reach the precious Golden Ball in the players of our rule.
On the other hand, we have our 27” stations, a multi-player and multi-game product, which allows two synchronized roulette cylinders to be played simultaneously, preventing them from overlapping, and thus shortening each game cycle. Finally, another line of products that is currently very prominent is our UNIVERSAL CABINET. These standalone units are offered in a variety of table games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Big Six and Roulette.
All this would not have been possible without the excellent work being done by all areas of the company and precisely at this event in particular, I would like to thank the entire technical team who have done a spectacular job.
How have you seen the trade show? Have your expectations been met in this recent edition?
The result of PGS 2022 was very good, enriching and far exceeding our expectations. All of our most recent developments by our Research and Development department have won the recognition of Casino Operators, regionally, globally and we were lucky enough to be able to present them at this fair, which have been widely accepted by our potential and current clients.
As a novelty, in the coming weeks we will be installing several of our latest roulette models in the main rooms of Lima, Peru, which is great news for the company.
How is the company positioned today in Peru, and in Latam in general?
We are making progress on new projects, continuing the solid work we have been doing and expanding throughout the region.
As a leader in the electronic table games segment, it is not surprising that the markets in Argentina, Peru and Chile succeed with Interblock. We are making great progress in Paraguay, Uruguay and in Colombia we have been received with great amplitude and this will allow us to start the installation of our Black Pearl flag roulette. Panama is the next destination with great development potential. Through its high-end products, Interblock has found a very important niche which, with the support of our president for Latam Andres Morano and the team he leads, will consolidate the brand's positioning.
The bill that regulates gambling and online sports betting in Peru continues to advance. What expectations do you have regarding the future of the sector?
Any news that feeds the sector, always of course speaking within the regulatory framework, is positive and welcome.
In our case, and precisely speaking of ETG (Electronic table games), a segment in which Interblock is becoming very strong, I believe that operators are betting with great confidence on our products globally. We have set up and installed electronic Casino zones all over the world, providing the possibility for players to play Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, SicBo, Big Six and Roulette, but 100% electronically. We are attracting both players who are looking to get started in these games as well as more experienced players who continue to play their favorite table games safely. For the Casinos they are a great option to complement the live tables, for example, when they are closed and also for the Bingos/Slots in which they cannot have this type of live games. We have finally proven to attract a younger audience, which is a great sign for the future.
What are the company's plans for the remainder of this year?
We have many plans and work ahead of us, since at a steady pace we continue with large and substantial projects on the way, continuing this exponential growth.
If we talk about fairs or shows, we will be present at SAGSE Miami during the month of August and at G2E of course, presenting and exhibiting the latest news to close this 2022.
Finally, and how could it be otherwise, we appreciate all the opportunities they offer us, the same ones that motivate us to continue working to bring the brand closer to each of our clients, in each of the countries that manage the region.
