(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- In an exclusive interview for SoloAzar, Georgi Koprinarov, General Manager for LATAM at CT Gaming shared his analysis of the first edition of ICE in Barcelona, which took place from 20-22 January at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.

Georgi Koprinarov, Managing Director for LATAM at CT Gaming, began the interview by giving his first impressions of the positive turnaround of this 2025 edition of ICE in Barcelona: “The new location brought fresh energy, allowing us to reach a broader spectrum of attendees, including key industry stakeholders from both established and emerging markets. The vibrant atmosphere and high engagement levels reaffirmed ICE as a must-attend event for the gaming industry.”

He said the show was not only a key networking venue, but “provided valuable insights into market trends and technological advancements shaping the industry. Engaging in discussions with operators and technology providers helped us gain a deeper understanding of evolving player preferences and industry challenges, enabling us to refine our strategies accordingly.”

"At ICE Barcelona 2025, we showcased our newest multigame Diamond King 4, which generated significant interest due to its diverse game selection and enhanced features. Our EZ Modulo series slot cabinets also attracted strong attention, because this time it was paired with the Mermaid’s Quest multigame, which displayed diversity and the enhanced functionalities of the cabinet. Additionally, our Casino Management System (CMS) showcased advanced functionalities that support operators in streamlining venue operations and enhancing player engagement.

In a summery, markets across Europe, Latin America, and Africa demonstrated strong interest in our product portfolio, with operators seeking innovative solutions to drive player retention and optimize casino management."

Key trends shaping the future of the industry: AI, omni-channel and responsible gambling

Georgi highlights these three trends for the future of the Gaming industry:

  • Several key trends emerged at ICE Barcelona that we believe will shape the future of the industry. The first and most discussed is the rise of AI-powered analytics – Operators are increasingly looking for AI-driven solutions to personalize player experiences and optimize operations.
  • Another trend that noticeably is growing is related to omnichannel gaming experiences. The seamless integration of land-based and online gaming continues to be a priority, offering players a more cohesive experience.
  • Last but not least, we believe that the trend that participate in shaping the future of the industry is sustainability and responsible gaming. More and more operators are prioritizing solutions that align with regulatory requirements and player protection initiatives.




LATAM's strategic presence at ICE Barcelona 

Georgi shared his insight when asked how he felt the impact of ICE Barcelona for the LATAM region

“ICE is the biggest and most influential event in the gaming industry, and this year’s edition was even larger, bringing together an unprecedented number of industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from around the world. Its significance cannot be overstated, as it sets the tone for the year ahead, driving new trends, partnerships, and business opportunities.”

“The event had a significant impact, especially as it takes place at the beginning of the year, marking the official start of the exhibition season. It serves as a key moment for the industry to reactivate immediately after the holidays, and we could strongly feel the enthusiasm and high energy levels among attendees”, added Georgi. 

CT Gaming's General Manager for LATAM expresed the following about the topic: “For the LATAM market, the relocation to Barcelona created an even more welcoming environment."
