He said about the show: “ICE London has achieved impressive growth in participation and maintained high standards for programming.”
What are you exhibiting this year at ICE 2020?
Among the key highlights of ICE 2020 are Konami’s newest specialty cabinets: KX 43 and Concerto Opus. Both machines feature a 4K Ultra High-definition (UHD) display, USB charging port, dual cup holders, dual classic bash buttons, and a diverse library of proven games—everything from symbol-driven linked progressives to original jackpot bonuses. KX 43 has a 43-inch, edge-lit portrait screen and standard base width. On a slightly larger scale, Konami’s Opus machine features a 65-inch display, and has been called the next evolution of our Podium Goliath cabinet, which saw strong popularity as the right size of an oversized cabinet when it was released internationally around 2014. Ba Fang Jin Bao, Treasure Ball, and Dragon’s Law SeleXion are some of the top series showcased at ICE 2020 for Konami’s latest specialty cabinets.
What is the product that stands out at the show?
This year’s show includes the ICE premiere of Konami’s new DIMENSION 49J cabinet, with premium merchandising options and high-end game entertainment. It is equipped with a 49-inch 4K UHD display that includes a “J” curve for an improved player viewing. Additional player conveniences include a wireless smartphone charging pad, USB port, and built-in handbag hook. All Aboard is among the cabinet’s debut game series. It is a multi-level progressive with comprehensive multi-denom options, and is showcased at ICE with custom-branded chairs and bank filler displays.
How is the company positioned in this region?
The past year has shown positive momentum across Europe. Konami has demonstrated an ability to drive quality support to its core product, while offering expanded entertainment options for more specialty and premium game categories. This balance is important for Konami’s ongoing role in the region.

ICE London has achieved impressive growth in participation and maintained high standards for programming. Each year, Konami and its exclusive distributors look forward to meeting with casino professionals from around the world and sharing the latest developments.
This is the first important trade show of the year, How does the calendar of events continues for the company and which are expectations?
As the global gaming industry’s first event of the year, ICE London provides a great launchpad for new ideas, opportunities, partnership, and product. Oftentimes, ICE can kickstart meaningful conversations and cooperative efforts that carry over into other milestone annual events, such as the Peru Gaming Show, G2E Las Vegas, GET IN events, and more.
What are the goals you hope to achieve in this 2020?
Looking ahead through 2020, Konami plans to broaden its portfolio to further product categories and potential demographics.
How does Brexit affect the industry in this region?
No one can say with certainty what will happen and when it will happen. However, there is strong agreement that nothing major will happen in relation to the gaming industry.
How does the firm accompany the evolution of the players?
Change is necessary to ensure we continue to reach players with games that reflect their entertainment and technology preferences. Konami’s business is structured to help navigate evolving market landscapes in ways that benefit the long-term interests of our casino customers.
