(Miami, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Diego Mejia , New Business Development Manager – LATAM JCM Global, spoke exclusively with SoloAzar during the last edition of Juegos Miami. “JCM has been a supporter of Juegos Miami since its inception, because we recognize the importance of the Latin American and Caribbean markets, and we want to be where our customers are”, he said.

Latin America has been and continues to be a valuable market for JCM

What are you presenting at the fair?

This year we presented a suite of interconnected products: the iVIZION bill validator, the GEN5 thermal printer, the ICB 3.0 Intelligent Cash Box, and the BlueWave DX firmware upload tool. Individually, each product helps operators to make better connections with their customers, and each has their own market-leading functions and capabilities. As a suite, they collectively serve to greatly enhance security and efficiencies throughout the entire customer process, from bill insertion to ticket printing to the count room to uploading new firmware that ensures everything is up to date.

What product attracted the most attention among the people who came to the stand?

Security is top of mind for every operators, so our award-winning iVIZION is a must-see product at every show, and Juegos Miami was no exception. Of course, because we were presenting a full suite, we had the opportunity to present the entire solution package from end-to-end to attendees, and that drew a very positive response. People were also interested in sports betting, and while we didn’t have them on the exhibit, attendees were also very inquisitive about or extensive line of digital displays.

Why did you decide to participate in this fair and what are the expectations? What is the importance of having a fair in Miami?

JCM has been a supporter of Juegos Miami since its inception, because we recognize the importance of the Latin American and Caribbean markets, and we want to be where our customers are. Having this show in Miami is a best-of-both-worlds situation. Because it’s in America, we can easily ship products for display without the hang ups that can happen from time to time when we ship gaming industry products to other countries. Plus, because it is so close to the Caribbean, many customer from across the region can easily attend.

How do you see the market news in Latin America in relation to the company?

Latin America has been and continues to be a valuable market for JCM, and we continue to be completely committed to our customers across Latin America and the Caribbean. Like operators in every other part of the world, LatAm operators are concerned about security and defeating counterfeiters and other types of currency cheats, and, quite simply, JCM produces the better, smarter, faster solutions.

What balance can you make from the first half of the year? And what plans do you have for the remainder of 2018?

The first half of 2018 has been very good for JCM in Latin American and the Caribbean, and in regions around the world, and we expect that to continue.

Will JCM participate in other fairs in the rest of the year?

In Latin America, we will participate in the Peru Gaming Show, GET IN, and SAGSE Buenos Aires. We will also be in several other tradeshows around the world between now and the end of the year, from Las Vegas for G2E to Macao for the Macao Gaming Show.

The United States is opening the doors to the legalization of sports betting in the different states. What is your opinion about it?

Our opinion is the excitement of sports betting gets even better when the sports are shown on the world’s best digital displays, and we have a complete portfolio of hi-def display solutions for operators and casinos of every size and shape.
