Maximiliano Sterle, Latin American Sales Representative for FININVEST (official distributor of Giesecke+Devrient and CountR), tells us exclusively about his results after Gat Expo Mexico 2025.
How would you rate your experience at this edition of GAT Mexico City 2025?
GAT CDMX 2025 far exceeded our expectations. This first edition in Mexico City represented a unique opportunity to bring the cutting-edge technology of German brands Giesecke+Devrient and CountR to the Mexican market , which we consider extremely attractive due to its size, strategic location, and growing demand for reliable, high-quality solutions.
How would you describe your company's participation in the fair?
Our participation was extremely active and productive. We participated in the academic conferences and panels, where important topics such as regulation, importation, distribution, and technological advances were discussed. At our booth, we showcased the Giesecke+Devrient ProNote 1.5, BPS C1, and BPS C2-4 banknote counters and sorters, and the CountR CashIO Gold self-service kiosk. We not only strengthened relationships with customers and partners, but also explored new opportunities and made new connections.
From your perspective, what opportunities and challenges do you currently see in the Mexican gaming and betting market?
The Mexican market is experiencing a growing demand for secure and efficient solutions for cash processing and process automation. Our solutions raise security and control standards and integrate seamlessly with the preferred management system. We are convinced that Mexico has one of the most promising gaming and betting markets in the region, supported by a solid and competitive economy.
What other events do you plan to participate in in the near future?
Following our participation in GAT Cartagena and PGS Lima, GAT CDMX is strengthening our strategic expansion. We will be present at G2E Las Vegas from October 6th to 9th, where you can visit us at booths 4410 for Giesecke+Devrient and 4200 for CountR, and at GAT Santo Domingo from November 12th to 13th.
What objectives did this edition of the event achieve and what are its goals in the local and regional market?
This edition of GAT CDMX positioned Mexico among the most important events in the region and allowed for the presentation of the latest trends and innovations. GAT Mexico was undoubtedly important for the gaming market in Mexico, but also for Latin America, with the announcement of the creation of the International Federation of Games of Chance (FIJA).
Our goal is to continue offering top-level technology with local and remote support, thus strengthening our presence and commitment to the country and the region.
