Merkur Gaming presents Rapid Thunder at NIGA
⏱ 2 min read
(Espelkamp/San Diego).- At NIGA 2019 in San Diego (April 1st to 4th) Merkur Gaming US is both proud and excited to announce the arrival of a hugely significant addition to its product offering for both tribal government and commercial land based casinos.
That addition comes in the form of Rapid Thunder, an in-game slot bonus feature that is described by company executives as unique. Rapid Thunder is a five level, static value, non-progressive jackpot feature that is shown at NIGA as a brand new evolution of some of Merkur’s already successful slot games: Taco Tuesday, Land of Charms, the Asian themed Immortal Emperor, Immortal Princess and Baozang, together with the Egyptian adventure Amulet of the Pharaoh. These proven successful titles are all now given the added attraction of Rapid Thunder, which has a huge entertainment characteristic and a fixed top award (when max bet is played) of $10,000. In adding this extra attraction Merkur Gaming describes the result as ‘the ultimate in gaming entertainment’.
The Rapid Thunder feature bonus (that has been adapted for all six such games to be shown during NIGA) is a brand new and truly exciting gaming innovation. To win the top prize players must reveal (and automatically capture) Rapid Thunder symbols. When the Rapid Thunder symbols land on the reels, they leave behind an electrified halo and, when a reel is fully covered by halos, then the player has completed a Rapid Reel. Two or more Rapid Reels earn the player a Mini Jackpot, three Rapid Reels earn the player a Minor, four equals a Major Jackpot and five equals the Grand Jackpot. If the player has selected max bet and has filled all reels with Rapid Reels the player is awarded the Max Grand prize of $10,000.00.
The Uniqueness of the game is not only the Rapid Reels. If a player earns three Rapid Reels they win the Minor, and they also win the Mini. All Jackpot Prizes are paid when a Rapid Reel is formed. Meaning that when a player hits five Rapid Reels they cumulatively win the total of all of the Jackpot Prizes! The Jackpot Prizes are of course not the only thing that the player can win. He or she is also playing the exceptional themed Reel games behind that of the Rapid Thunder Bonus.
Also on the Reels are Mini and Minor Jackpot Symbols that hit often; all adding to the players’ excitement. When the player has collected many halos, but has just fallen short of making Rapid Reels, Rapid Thunder then pays 1x total bet for each Halo spot that was not part of a Rapid Reel Jackpot win.
Merkur Gaming is extremely proud of this new gaming innovation, a product that, in the Merkur tradition, combines great gaming and high entertainment in one superbly produced package.
