MGM Resorts and Playtech announce a Las Vegas live casino experience in SBC Lisbon

Shimon Akad and Christian Stuart took us through the journey that has brought this vision to life. They highlighted how the iconic Las Vegas experience has evolved and become accessible to a global audience, reaching new markets and new audiences, with some exciting news to share.

Christian Stuart, SVP, Head of Interactive, NA: “I’m very excited with the partnership with Playtech. I’m here to represent MGM. It is a large industry. After much searching around, we landed on Las Vegas, that’s our distinctive feature. MGM has a major footprint in Las Vegas and its culture, with billions of dollars in assets. But those assets have only been enjoyed in person, so people have to travel to Las Vegas to see them and experience them. Now what we are doing with the partnership with Playtech is actually bringing that experience online to the global regulated marketplace. So people can now live and experience the excitement and energy of gambling in Las Vegas online. Now we have cameras on the tables at the Bellagio and we are streaming that to new markets so it allows customers to play online.”
