(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mike Ciavarella, CEO of Newgioco Group, granted an interview to SoloAzar within ENADA show. “We've been here for the last five years with a booth and we´ve been growing every year and it's quite exciting the feedback that we get on an annual basis,” he said.

Newgioco presented its solutions at recent ENADA Primavera

“The main focus of our brand is our software, our technology. Newgioco platform is quite unique in the industry not just in Italy, it could be applicable everywhere in the world,” said Ciavarella, who added: “The keypoint of our platform is that it was designed within an active market, by gaming developers that have a software experience; they understand the gaming experience, the background; they understand the behavior and the approach that are better for the product, and with that intelligence, we are able to create a platform that doesn't exist anywhere else, and it functions very well.”

He then explained the growth of the company: “During 2017, we did our go-to-market test and we doubled our revenue generated from the platform in the Italian market because the operators have perceived the value of the platform and how important it is for their business. So this is a special year for us as we unveiled the platform and more and more people are talking about the platform and switching to Newgioco as their provider.”

When asked about their goals, he commented: “Our expectation is to invite more operators that have not experienced our platform in the past, and have been impressed by some of the other competitors with large booths, lots of noise and a lot of dancers but less substance in terms of the product. We are very quiet, as you can see, we are not having any dancing crowds but what we want to do is to demonstrate the power of our platform because, at the end of the day, we are here to talk about business. So our expectation is that we will be with interested operators that want to add value to their business, and we anticipate that we will have new operators that will use our platform going forward.”

“The company plan for this year is to take everything that we have developed in the strong and very unique Italian market -as our core market- and expand into other geographic jurisdictions or countries, such as United States which has recently opened, as a result of the repeal of the PASPA law. The South American market, which is expanding extremely well, with many of the countries regulating the industry much more, and becoming more normalized, and le's say, more secure, so we are very interested in the South American market and we are very interested in the expansion into other European regulated markets. Our core market is the Italian market and we have to preserve our core values and of course there are other markets that are available to us, including the South African market and other regulated jurisdictions.”

He then commented that Newgioco is a Delaware company which quotes in the stock market in the US, with the plan that the parent company will be listed on the major exchange very shortly, like the Nasdaq or the New York Stock Exchange. That name will remain and that name was adopted from the original company Newgioco SRL.

“But our plan of course is to adopt maybe subsidiaries operating in local jurisdictions under a unique branding that is more applicable to the local jurisdictions,” he underlined.

Finally, he said that they will participate in NIGA in San Diego and in the ICE Boston Show. When asked about Latin America, he remarked: “We would have loved assisting to FADJA but this year we could not do it. That doesn't mean that we will not make a presence in the South American market, whether that be by a personal invitation or private demonstrations, but next year we would like to work that on our schedule. We have had one of our subsidiaries which has been to FADJA for the last two years, but again, because of the conflict, we are unable to make it. But in fact we have very good agents and operators in South America.”
