Novomatic unveiled its highlights at recent G2E Las Vegas

(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Jens Einhaus, Novomatic VP International Sales, Europe & Americas, was interviewed by SoloAzar about the participation of the firm at recent G2E show. He described the products that the firm exhibited at the event and also talked about the markets in which it operates and the goals of the firm for the rest of the year.

What products have you exhibited at G2E 2019?
We brought a number of progressive products, new games and game mixes, our sports betting kiosk, system solutions and ETGs for the U.S. and surrounding markets. We have a broad offer for US Commercial, Tribal and VGT operators, market-specific products for our Latin American customers as well as several highlights for international show visitors.
What are the products that stand out among these?
Our main showcase product at this year’s G2E is the Samurai Beauty™ linked progressive game. We are presenting this new Asian-themed title right at the front of our booth with a quite remarkable double-sided video wall installation featuring game-synchronized video content – and visitors to our booth love it. The game has a gripping Lock & Spin feature game and four jackpot levels – one linked, one standalone and two fixed jackpot prizes.
But that is not the only highlight! We are also showing the MONEY PARTY™ Link with the two titles Fruity Fruity™ and Juicy Juicy™ as well as the THUNDER CASH™ Link that is already successfully performing in a growing number of US casinos.
Another standout product is our NOVOMATIC ActionBook™ sports betting kiosk for US operators. This terminal fulfils all the requirements of US casino operators in terms of security, maintenance and usability, enabling them to offer quick and easy betting opportunities that optimize the potential of high volume betting periods. The NOVOMATIC ActionBook™ is a highly ergonomic turn-key hardware solution compatible with leading sports betting software and sportsbook providers.
What are your expectations at G2E every year?
Our expectations for G2E are always to have a great show with good visitor traffic on our booth and excellent customer contact. But first and foremost, we strive to display the great quality of our offer, especially for US operators, and demonstrate our cutting-edge products for their businesses.
I think that this year’s G2E really proves that we have finally hit the mark with our development focus for the US. The close cooperation of our headquarters-based game studios with the US-based Mount Prospect team of game developers has yielded some excellent results – and they are here on display, attracting great interest.
What are the goals of the Company from now until the end of the year?
First and foremost, we will analyze and process the just-finished G2E. It is also important to properly assess the very good discussions with our customers and partners and draw the right conclusions. Above all, this means fulfilling our customers' wishes for further NOVOMATIC products as quickly as possible and taking advantage of the momentum.
Following this, we will be fully attentive to ICE 2020, where we will once again be showcasing NOVOMATIC products that meet the needs of our customers and show a good performance on every casino floor. This applies to all NOVOMATIC product groups.
Will you be present at other shows?
Our annual show calendar for 2019 has almost completed – we will participate at one more European gaming show, BEGE in Bulgaria, we will have a presence at G2E Philippines in December and then focus our attention on the big show early next year in London, ICE 2020. The upcoming year also marks the 40th anniversary for NOVOMATIC – so there’s a lot to be expected next year.
How does the growth of the Company accompany the evolution of the players?
The development of the company goes hand in hand with the products we offer – and here we are on a good way. This means that we are able to offer more and better products that meet the respective market requirements, such as our jackpot offers for the US market, or our game mixes in attractive cabinets for LatAm, to mention some examples.
The casino customers have grown up just like the brand NOVOMATIC and know what they want and that's exactly what we serve. At the same time, we are always interested in offering new products that will bring new guests to the casinos for the most up-to-date gaming experiences and entertainment.
Which are the markets in which the firm is more established and which are the new markets in which it seek to enter?
NOVOMATIC traditionally has a strong presence in the European markets, where we are very active in the operations side of the gaming business, as well. This is where we come from, and this is where we are most familiar with the player preferences, operator requirements and the ever-changing regulatory frameworks.
Our products traditionally are also very popular in the Latin American markets where NOVOMATIC has an excellent footprint with a growing customer base and a wellestablished customer-service infrastructure maintained by our local subsidiaries.
The North American markets is an area where we still see substantial room for growth, both in the casino and VLT segment as well as in the highly promising sports betting business. Over the past couple of years, we have invested substantial efforts in the development of these markets, and it is very rewarding to see how this strategy is now starting to really yield some results. It was a learning process, but the excellent reception of our THUNDER CASH™ Link, for example, or the growing market penetration of our sports betting kiosk prove that operators recognize a solid product and appreciate premium quality winning technology.
