´Our expectations for FIJMA are more than fulfilled´

(Madrid, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Jonás Ortega, CEO of Grupo Random, organizing company of the International Gaming Fair, granted an interview to SoloAzar within FIJMA, which is taking place this week in Madrid. "This event has offered a lot of novelties for all the commercial segments of the market," said Ortega.
As organizers of FIJMA, how are you seeing the development of the show in terms of number of exhibitors, products, services and new trends for the sector? Are your expectations being met?
Our expectations are being more than fulfilled. As stated in our publication, Azarplus, the General Director of the Product and Technology Division of NOVOMATIC SPAIN, Bernhard Teuchmann, "right now, in Europe there is no Fair comparable in terms of size". An indisputable possession with which we completely agree. For reasons of time and logistics, the fair has not been able to grow more this year, although it has many proposals to do so, and unfortunately we have not been able to satisfy them, but they will be present at the next edition. On the other hand, this fair has offered a shower of novelties for all the commercial segments of the market.
This year in particular, the interest of international companies in attending FIJMA has increased. How much has international participation grown compared to previous editions?
A very outstanding percentage of professional visitors has come, but until the end of the fair we cannot quantify exactly. Regarding the interested international companies, unfortunately, we had full exhibition space and they will have to wait for the new call, although they have left their reservations insured.
