Play Brands Group exhibited its complete portfolio at Brazilian Gaming Show

What are you exhibiting at this show?

At the show we are exhibiting our complete portfolio of products in our four product lines. One is playbonds.com, our online casino. We also do white labels, so that’s one. The second one is that we have our own development of games, mainly video bingo. We have a line of terminals, online and server-based, and the last product is sports betting, online and also for betting shops. So these are the products that we are showing.

What is the most remarkable product?

In the past, it was the video bingo product, but at the moment the most important product is sports betting.

Which were your expectations before arriving at BGC?

It is our third time at this show. BGC is a good platform for networking, for meeting politicians the national and international industry and also the public, so it is very interesting for us just to attend, to see what everybody says but also to show our products and our presence in the market, because it looks like we are the only Brazilian company showing our products. I think it is important for everybody to know that there exist Brazilian companies, although I am not Brazilian.

How do you see this edition of Brazilian Gaming Congress?

Like I said, it is networking. Just I think trying to keep some pressure on the politicians, to show that there is a mature industry, that a Brazilian company is hoping to enter into the market. It is becoming a bit more complicated because every time the law does not come, I come here and see a lot of people and it shows that it is a good reason to be here.

How do you see the Brazilian market today?

Today unfortunately it is a non regulated market. The problem is that the politicians are not ready, but the companies are ready, so it already exists but it would be better if it was regulated. It’s not regulated, but it is happening, like everybody knows, so that is today. In the future, as soon as there is a reasonable regulation, it would be the center, I think, of the gaming industry in South America. Everybody will open up immediately an office. So there would be a lot of people working in the industry and it will be the heart of South America. Probably Mexico, too, but all the rest will be here, like us. We are now in Montevideo but as soon as we have a good regulation in Brazil we will open up offices over here.

What is the importance of this congress for Brazil?

I think it is to show to the international industry what is happening in Brazil but also to get the politicians involved and let them know that the industry is here. But it seems to be more discussion at the moment between what is good for the country or not, but we all know that gambling exists and that there should be some revenue for the country.

What are the following shows for the rest of the year?

Normally we don’t do the international shows, we are visiting all the shows and we have our own platforms. We are on the Internet, we know a lot of people in South America, so that’s what we do. But because this is our home market this is why we are here.
