Pragmatic Play at SIGMA - BiS event was recognized with three prestigious awards

(São Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Victor Arias, Vice President of Latam Operations at ARRISE powering Pragmatic Play, granted an interview to SoloAzar at the recent SIGMA Americas tradeshow in Sao Paulo, Brazil, meeting which took place from 14 to 18 June. Victor talked about the main innovations presented at the event, the three awards the firm received and the current situation of the Brazilian market.
How did you experience the days of the tradeshow and what innovations did you present?
The experience at the iGaming SiGMA Americas- BiS event in São Paulo was unforgettable. Pragmatic Play arrived with a modern stand, of great proportions and many expectations, which were fulfilled throughout the days of exhibition. From the very first moment I felt honored to be part of this industry and to be able to participate in such an important meeting, where meaningful connections were made.
In terms of innovation, Pragmatic Play's product portfolio itself is full of such offerings. New, top-quality entertainment options with new mechanics are constantly being launched, increasing users' loyalty to the brand, and this is something to be proud of.
In addition, being recognized with three awards at the SiGMA BiS event as "Virtual Sports Provider of the Year", "Mobile Game Provider of the Year" and "Best Game Producer" is a clear sign that the company is on the right way.
What were the topics that most caught your attention during the event?
All the topics covered are relevant to the online gaming industry, such as responsible gaming (essential to build a sustainable and reliable industry), innovation, personalisation of the player experience and expansion into new markets. I am convinced that understanding and addressing these issues effectively contributes to the growth and success of businesses in the industry over time.
We know that Brazil is a country passionate about football, which has turned that gambling culture to sports betting, so to find a wide variety of lectures related to the topic, such as the importance of integrity in sports for the sector, was a very pleasant surprise.
Why are you interested in the Brazilian market and what are your company's plans for the Brazilian market?
The Brazilian market is part of a strategic brand expansion vision focused on Latin America, because it has great growth potential, with a significant number of users looking for diverse and safe gaming experiences.
In this regard, I feel that Pragmatic Play has been able to understand the local gaming culture, offering entertainment options that are very well received by users and that translates into the number of agreements signed with operators in the region. That's why we will continue on this path, focusing on the work of the local team to establish solid partnerships and take the brand's portfolio to new levels of success in Brazil.
Can you tell us about your plans for expansion in Latin America?
Pragmatic Play's goal in Latin America is clear, it has come to stay and lead the industry, but that implies a great responsibility. Of course, it will continue to focus on growth, to reach more markets, but also, as a supplier, it wants to create the foundations for the industry to develop its full potential, that is, to lay the foundations for the market to become more and more professional.
The first half of the year has been a clear example of what you will continue to see from Pragmatic Play Latam: profitable deals, cutting-edge entertainment offerings and a greater presence in every corner of the continent.
