SiGMA Africa 2026 returns to Cape Town in March 2026

SiGMA has confirmed that SiGMA Africa, powered by Alea, will return to Cape Town from 03 to 05 March 2026.

Based on strong delegate feedback, the summit will continue to run in March to align with optimal weather conditions and support productive networking, business meetings and content sessions.

A look back at the 2025 edition

The 2025 edition in Cape Town brought together around two thousand five hundred industry professionals, reinforcing the event’s role as a meeting place for gaming, tech and digital leaders across the continent. Delegates engaged in discussions on regulation, market expansion and digital transformation, supported by a packed conference agenda and targeted networking opportunities. SiGMA Africa attracts around three thousand delegates, including eight hundred operators, more than one hundred fifty speakers, over two hundred fifty exhibitors and sponsors, four hundred fifty affiliates and a strong C-level presence.

In 2025, Cape Town’s leadership highlighted the city’s ambition to serve as Africa’s leading hub for investment, digital innovation and economic growth, positioning iGaming as part of a broader technology ecosystem. The focus on efficient regulation, fintech expansion and a supportive business environment has confirmed Cape Town as a natural host city for the summit and a gateway to African markets. With the new dates now fixed in early March 2026, SiGMA Africa powered by Alea will once again give operators, suppliers, affiliates and policymakers a forum to build partnerships that reflect these priorities.

Africa’s growth landscape

Strategic dialogue during SiGMA Africa 2025 underlined how Malta and South Africa can deepen cooperation through investment incentives, regulatory collaboration and shared expertise in gaming, fintech and digital innovation. This cross-regional engagement strengthens Africa’s position in global value chains and offers international companies a clear route into both African and European markets. The Women in Gaming Africa initiative, held alongside the summit, further showcased the continent’s commitment to inclusive growth, with programming dedicated to mentorship, leadership and skills development for women across the gaming sector.

With the wrap-up of the SiGMA Global Tour 2025, attention now turns to the summits that will define 2026.

“To stay informed on market developments and secure a place among industry decision makers, stakeholders are encouraged to sign up now for SiGMA Africa 2026 in Cape Town, supported by Alea,” organizers said.
