(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Zitro Digital´s CCO José Martí, granted an interview with SoloAzar to talk about the firm´s performance at the recent Sigma Malta event. He also commented on the novelties showcased at the fair: " we are introducing at SiGMA the Christmas video slot ‘Frozen Xmas’. Among other topics, he also gave his view about the next generations of gambling players.
What were the company's objectives for SiGMA Europe in Malta?
The two main objectives were to confirm Zitro Digital as a key content provider for any online casino operator in the world, and to explain that, as Zitro is the fastest growing company in the global land-based gaming market in recent years, we also understand the digital distribution channel, and that we are committed to further enhancing this business vertical.
What were the novelties showcased at the show?
At SiGMA Malta we showed online casino operators the remarkable growth of our games offering, bringing to the online world our diverse range of video slots that have been successful in the land-based market, as well as introducing new themed games designed for launch at key times of the year.

Among the main innovations we presented during the show was the 'Ramses' video slot from the eagerly awaited 'Mighty Hammer' series, as well as games from Zitro's most popular series - already classics - including games from the 'Link King', 'Link Me', '88 Link' and 'Bashiba Link' families - a must-have in any online casino - as well as our wide range of Video Bingo games. In terms of new games ideal for seasonal promotions, we are introducing at SiGMA the Christmas video slot 'Frozen Xmas', now available for operators who want to offer their players the luxury of celebrating Christmas with Zitro games.
In addition to new games, we also present at SIGMA our tournaments and other promotional tools that offer customers a wide range of marketing possibilities, because at Zitro Digital we do not limit ourselves to making excellent games available to the operator, but we accompany them so that Zitro games are presented to the player with attractive promotions that multiply the interest in playing them.
What is your opinion on the tradeshow, and what did you find to be the highlight of this 2023 edition?
Compared to previous years, the SiGMA Malta fair was affected by organisational issues, mainly due to the change of location. The new exhibition centre was not ready to host an event of this magnitude, which created a number of logistical and organisational problems that I hope will be solved for the next edition.

Despite this, I must point out that the fair has been positive in terms of the impact it currently has on the online market. It is clear that this is a major event with over 25,000 thousand attendees and attracts a wide variety of operators from around the world. A fantastic opportunity to strengthen business relationships with our customers, forge new connections within the industry, and highlight the huge transformation that Zitro Digital's product portfolio has undergone.
What do you think is needed to attract the next generation of gambling players, and what role does your company play in developing industry innovations in the region?
In the changing landscape of the gaming industry, we recognise the importance of not only exceeding the expectations of today's gamers, but also anticipating and addressing the preferences and tastes of the next generation.
While gameplay and graphics are essential elements that gamers of all ages appreciate in a game, we are also aware that younger gamers are looking for more interactive and emotionally engaging experiences. In this sense, we are continually creating new aesthetics that are more appealing to the new generations, and we continue to enhance the playability of our slots, and to incorporate gamification and promotional tools such as missions and tournaments, the latter of which have a strong social component.
