(Rome).- SiGMA World has announced the workshop programme for its upcoming Rome event, offering delegates a practical look at the regulatory and commercial issues shaping international gaming markets. The event will take place at Fiera Roma from 2–5 November 2026, with workshops scheduled from 3–5 November.

SiGMA World Rome Unveils Global Workshop Programme

Taking place from 03–05 November at Fiera Roma, the workshop programme will explore some of the most pressing questions facing operators, suppliers, advisers and investors across established and emerging markets.

Europe and North America in Focus

The first day will address European regulatory priorities and developments in North America. Sessions will cover sports integrity and betting manipulation, cross-border gaming structures, licensing and compliance models in the US and Canada, as well as the impact of MiCA and the EU AI Act on gaming, technology and financial services.

Latin America and Brazil

On 4 November, the programme will shift its focus to Latin America. A dedicated Brazil workshop will examine the practical steps required to establish compliant operations, including licensing, corporate structures, taxation and payments. Another session will address the challenges regulators face in combating unlicensed gaming and the region's black market.

Mexico Under the Microscope

Mexico will have a dedicated workshop examining the country's permits, political factors, regulatory uncertainty and legal grey areas. The session is designed to provide international businesses with a closer understanding of the challenges involved in entering and operating in the Mexican gaming market.

Africa Closes the Programme

The final day will focus entirely on Africa, with discussions centred on changes to taxation, licensing and political conditions across the continent. The full-day format will allow participants to explore both the opportunities and risks facing gaming operators and investors in diverse African jurisdictions.

A Practical Approach to Global Gaming

The workshops are intended to complement SiGMA World Rome's broader conference programme by providing detailed regional and regulatory analysis. The event is expected to bring together 30,000 delegates, more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, and 550 speakers across five conference stages, with additional programme details still to be announced.
