⏱ 3 min read
(Brazil, SoloAzar Exclusive) .- Roel Herrera, Head of Support of Sirplay South America, spoke exclusively with SoloAzar in the framework of the last edition of the Brazilian Gaming Congress. "We are waiting for the government to approve the law that allows us to operate," he said.
What are you exhibiting in this new edition of BGC?
We have brought news for our clients, since we operate in Latin America. We have two terminals and the Bluetooth printer. The terminals, with touch screen, have a small printer integrated so that our customers can place bets, not only in the physical outlets but also in a mobile way in different parts of the city or country, without having to rent a local or a physical point of sale. The player can bet from any mobile device, either a smartphone, tablet, and with the Bluetooth printer that we have directly can print the voucher.
How do you see this edition of BGC?
The expectation has been good because everyone who participates in this congress is more than anything to show our products to potential clients in Brazil, waiting for an approval of the legal part, where we will all operate in the Brazilian market, which it can be said that it is the main market in Latin America based on the population it has: we are talking about more than 250 million inhabitants. Then we are waiting for the government to approve the law that allows us to operate, that here there is a lot of Brazilian business that already wants to have operating licenses, not only in relation to sports but also with casinos .
In which markets are you currently operating?
In Africa we are currently in Nigeria and South Africa, and in Latin America we are in Colombia, Peru, Argentina and we are also waiting for the government to approve the regulations to start operating in Brazil.
Do you have anything ready for the World Cup?
Yes, precisely our platform, in addition to pre-match sports betting, live-betting, which has other systems or game modules integrated, which are live casinos or virtual games, right now, with the subject of live betting, we depend of a supplier, but we hope that before the World Cup, next month, we will be with news regarding the live betting module. It will be very intuitive, interactive, to facilitate the bet of each client. The platform is very intuitive. You have a column of sports, then the content of it, and in the part of the center of the page you can select the forecasts, which in turn are loaded in a cart that is on the right side. You enter the amount or value bet and you confirm.
Although the Brazilian market is not yet regulated, do you see this market as a potential user of the Sirplay platform?
Yes of course. Right now this congress has being useful so that companies that want to operate once the norm is given have known our product and have been delighted with our platform. More than anything because it is a system that fits your needs, and meets all expectations, either from the back office, which is the administrative part, to the website that is for the customer. Keep in mind that the Sirplay platform can be operated online or from the physical point of sale.
