(Madrid, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mario Fernández García, Creative Commercial Technical Director, granted an interview to SoloAzar in which he commented the latest innovation that the firm presented at FerInterazar. He also talked about the current situation of the sector and the legal frame, among other issues.

Which are the latest innovations presented at FerInterazar? Several novelties were introduced, all of them focused to optimize the casino performance, but I would like to remark the success of the payment machine Genius Pay, which created much expectation because it is a very innovative product. As I like to say, we haven’t invented the formula, but we have improved it.


Another important think to remark is the automated message system of manual payments of the machines, not only Genius Pay but also any payment machine in the market. This point has been implemented for much time through GranBolsa Play connection system, however, it is an important service, because with only one system we comprise the global operation of the casino.


In your opinion, what was this year’s edition like?


The truth is that we could feel the enthusiasm of the manufacturers for presenting novelties, as well as the active feedback from visitors towards the new proposals. I would like to thank the organization of the show and the partners of the sector.


What comments have you received from visitors?


In general, all of the remarks have been positive towards the event in general, and also about Tecnausa stand. Our clients and friends think Tecnausa is experimenting an important evolution at all levels within the sector.


Which is the average profile of the Spanish player? Do you create specific products for a specific sector?


We create a game experience, addressed to the casino customers, offering a leisure time which is different from our competitors and very attractive for the customer.


All the sector in general seek to offer a leisure and entertainment alternative, far away from the demonized image that ultimately we are applied from certain sectors.


In which way the legal frame has influence on the development of products, considering that each Autonomous region has its own rules?


The homologation and certification process has quite an influence due to the fact that there are 17 regulations to work on in Spain.


We find quite a restrictive legal frame with our sector, and, despite we totally agree with the administrative regulation, we have found several obstacles in order to be in equal conditions to compete with certain products.


How do you see the evolution of traditional gaming and online gaming in Spain in particular and in Europe in general?


Online gaming has grown faster due to the flexibility given by this cannel, but the human being is social by nature and needs to contact other people; and here is where traditional gaming gains strength. It has managed to adapt and strengthen facing online gaming.


In my opinion, in the future, traditional gaming would have to offer a mixed character to link the possibility to play online and land-based.
