(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Eman Pulis, CEO and Founder of SiGMA spoke in exclusive with SoloAzar anticipating the next edition of the show, that will take place in Malta 28-30 November 2018. “We’re looking at another significant increase in the size of the show this year, as we’re projecting 12,000 attendees,” he said.

"The industry as a whole is consolidating at the moment"

What are the expectations for the next edition of the fair?

We’re always looking for ways to improve our show, but we’ve also come a long way. SiGMA is a lot more of a fixture now, and carries some established features that give it identity. We’re looking at another significant increase in the size of the show this year, as we’re projecting 12,000 attendees. This growth must not come at the expense of the quality of experience. We’ll continue pushing the envelope, and make sure we have the most relevant conferences in the business.

What novelties will the visitors find?

We don’t have much in the way of gimmickry in SiGMA, we try to underpin our events with actual value. By its very nature, the SiGMA Start-up Pitch will provide some novelty factor – in the sense that the companies in the line-up will be young, and should provide a breath of fresh air. We’re also adding features to our online presence that will complement our events. We’re really giving our news and careers portals a boost, and hope that www.sigma.com.mt will bring more connection to the community.

What were the results of the last edition and what are the objectives to be overcome this year?

As an organization, we strive to have a really balanced calendar. We’re mostly known for the ‘flagship’ SiGMA show in November, but we have a full complement of events year-round. From the iGatherings, to our Affiliate Grand Slams and Alpha Boot Camps… we’ve always got something going on. Our objective is continuous engagement with the iGaming industry, and everything we do is geared towards perfecting the key relationships within it.

How do you see the global gaming industry and particularly in the region where you organize your event?

The industry as a whole is consolidating at the moment. Our event needs to reflect the community it represents. If the global iGaming community is coming closer together, as well as growing, we need to make sure that all our events reflect such trends and promote progress. To be an agent of change in this industry, you really can’t limit your vision to hindsight. We’re positioning ourselves to showcase the industry as it is now, but also shed light on what’s coming down the pipeline in a number of fields – including industry trends, emerging tech and regulatory developments.
