The Platform for Sustainable Gaming holds its General Assembly in Murcia

The members of the Sustainable Gaming Platform have chosen Murcia to hold their 2024 Ordinary General Assembly, which has taken place in perfect harmony between work and professional camaraderie, and in a very special environment thanks to the work of local partners, the Marinocio and Matencio groups.

The Assembly fulfilled the statutory obligations concerning the review of the activities of 2023 and 2024, the annual accounts, the budget and the action programme for 2024 and 2025. Also, as required by the statutes, the positions on the Board of Directors have been renewed, a necessary point at a formal level, although the entity proceeds and takes decisions in an assembly manner.

The review of the multiple open fronts took up a large part of the meeting, as the exercise has enjoyed an unprecedented level of activity: on the one hand, as a result of the degree of implementation of the FES Project, which continues to grow steadily; but additionally, FES is a part of other aspects that have been taking shape throughout 2024, since the well-known behavioural addiction prevention campaign for educators, adolescents and families now has to be added to its municipal facet, and the campaigns aimed at the group of adults with disabilities (FES DIScapacidad), and to promote sporting integrity (FES INTegrity).

Likewise, a review was given of the additional lines of action implemented, and the very intense agenda deployed since the end of 2023 and in 2024, which corresponds to the need to implement an approach to different regional administrations that have competence in the field of gambling, and to collaborations with public and private entities that have become key actors for the extension of the Platform's activities.

Once again this year, the current members thanked the new associates for joining the Platform for Sustainable Gaming, which has consolidated itself as the national transversal entity that brings together the corporate social responsibility interests of the different actors and sub-sectors of privately managed gaming; all emphasising the need to continue expanding the associative base of the association, as the milestones achieved undoubtedly justify the request for collaboration with the Sector as a whole, as it is also benefiting from all of this.
