(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Wilfred Adelsdorfer, CEO of Latamwin, granted an interview to SoloAzar, in which he spoke about the company's participation in the Peru Gaming Show, as well as the goals and position in the Latin American market, among other topics.

What did Latamwin's participation in PGS consist of?


Our team was there to publicize the wide range of services we offer as platform developers for the online casino and sports betting business. We have a recognized platform, certified with the latest industry standards (GLI 19 in version 3.0) with which we have carried out several online casino developments in regulated markets, such as some provinces in Argentina. We also sponsored the event, because we are convinced that it is very important for the sustainability of the industry in the region, to meet, share practices and establish long-term business alliances between the various actors.


What have been your goals for this new edition?


We want to publicize our platform, the services we provide and how we accompany the development of casinos -from the physical to the digital- at all stages of the business. This in addition to showing our great experience in regulated markets, which allows us to adapt to the demands of the different markets.

How is the company positioned today in Peru, and in Latam in general?


We are a company with a strong Latin American focus, whose main offer is technological services for the successful development of casinos. Although we recently ventured into another business vertical and launched an exclusive sports betting page in Chile, an experience that has motivated us. We work under a local perspective, taking on the challenges of the context of our region, providing through our platform diverse content, entertaining and adjusted to the idiosyncrasies of the different countries. We characterize ourselves for having chosen a path of responsible and sustained growth over time, which translates into being prepared to take on great challenges.


Last month the Council of Ministers in Peru approved a new bill to regulate gambling and online betting. From Latamwin, what perspectives do you have regarding regulation?


As a group we believe that clear rules benefit the industry. The better and clearer the rules, the better the service to users and the greater the incidence of international industry standards. As a company we have high compliance standards and are extremely sensitive to industry challenges.


The regulations allow all operators to comply with minimum standards and that is good for users and also allows us to differentiate ourselves in terms of the quality of service and the guarantees that we provide to our players. We are in favor of regulation in all countries, we all want clear rules and sensible tax structures that boost industry and increase tax collection, and not the other way around.


What are the company's plans for the remainder of this year?


Among our plans is to consolidate ourselves in the Mexican and Peruvian markets, in addition to being very aware of what is happening with the legislation in Brazil.
