(Santo Domingo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- José Luis Osorio Betancur, CEO of RetailSoft Solution and Kiron representative for the Dominican Republic, spoke with SoloAzar about his participation in recent GAT Expo Santo Domingo, where the firm presented Racing Roulette and Kirón. He also spoke about the challenge that the Dominican market represents for the firm, as well as about its association with Raza.

“This year we presented our horse roulette, Racing Roulette, a game developed for the Dominican market where we combine the excitement of horse racing and the best of roulette,” said José Osorio.

He then highlighted the characteristics of Kiron, a leading product, outstanding in the virtual gaming segment. “We are focused on the tropicalization of the product; this means adapting to the specific needs of the market and our clients, in this way we have evolved with new games, features and continuous improvements.”

When asked about the gambling market in the Dominican Republic, he commented the following: “The Dominican Republic is a very particular market, in which the levels of adaptation, game selection, among many other variables must be adjusted to meet the needs of the operator and in turn of the end-customer: our alliance with Raza is very important for us because we have trusted in their operation and their extensive experience in the Dominican market."

He also highlighted that all the comments and feedback they have received have been very positive. “There is great interest in the product and great confidence in Raza,” he remarked.

“The biggest challenge in the Dominican market is to understand it and adapt technologically. It is a sector with many particularities, that is why our alliance with Raza is so important and we are very happy that they have trusted us,” he added.

Finally, he commented on the main characteristics of that market and how to enter it. “The Dominican Republic is a market with great opportunities if you manage to adapt; It is also true that the number of lottery and sports banks that exist is considered a “red ocean” for operators and you can hardly see that in another country. This makes it a mature market and it is not an easy task for any provider or operator to penetrate the market,” he concludes.
