(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Korbi Carrison, G2E Event Vice President, granted an interview to SoloAzar, in which she talked about the future G2E Las Vegas show, to be held next October at the Venetian Expo & Convention Center.
As organizers, what are your desires and expectations for the next edition?
We can’t wait to welcome the global gaming industry to Las Vegas for G2E 2022. Building on our return to in-person last year, I’m confident this year will bring the same energy and audience of pre-pandemic G2E—especially with the return of a robust international crowd.
As the premier industry event designed to drive the gaming forward, G2E 2022 will preview new developments in the gaming industry and create space for industry leaders to share ideas on the future of gaming.
What have been the greatest challenges you had to face after the pandemic?
As one of the first major expos to return in-person to Las Vegas last year, G2E 2021 was an invaluable learning experience that we are using to create even more value at this year’s show. We are fortunate to have a great team fully dedicated to producing a show that puts the industry first.
What has been the feedback from operators, suppliers and attendees? What have been their considerations on the future show and the industry in general?
As we gear up for October, we’ve been flooded with interest and excitement for G2E 2022. From media to exhibitors to attendees, everyone involved is ecstatic to see this year’s show truly look and feel like pre-pandemic G2E. With gaming’s record momentum over the last year-and-a-half, our industry’s future is strong, and the gaming community is ready to celebrate that and discuss what’s next.
What will be the main trends to be showcased at G2E 2022, in terms of products, solutions, technology and payments?
As always, G2E will look toward the future of gaming—both on the expo floor and in our education sessions. That means payments modernization along with cryptocurrency and blockchain or Web3 will be a major topic of conversation. iGaming and sports betting will also feature prominently as two of the industry’s biggest growth segments. And a diverse set of more than 270 exhibitors will also be ready to showcase their products and solutions to transform both the casino and online player experience.
