(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Gabriele De Lorenzi, WorldMach Dirctor, granted an interview about the recent experience at ENADA show, recently held in Rimini. He shared his thoughts about meeting again face to face in a traditional show and talked about the firm's novelties, among other issues.
How have you experienced the fact of meeting again face to face in a traditional show?
We were thrilled because we finally had the chance to meet in person people that we e-met in the last months and talked to virtually. We had commercial deals going on with these people and it was good to finally meet in person and create a face-to-face bond.
How has been the reunion with other exhibitors and visitors?
It was really emotional. It may sound clichè but we were used to travelling a lot, meeting people from all over the world, create strong business partnerships and all of a sudden all of this stopped because of the virus. We are more excited for meeting the people rather than the business itself.
We're also interested in exchanging datas on how the market is going, Italian and globally.
What are the main novelties that the firm has presented in ENADA in terms of product releases?
We think that our biggest novelty is of course our brand Slotbar® that keeps enriching. We constantly have new content from retail, recently we signed a partnership with Cristaltec and Bakoo and we are already distributing their games in the online market.
Another novelty in our portfolio is for sure Mini-games.
Wth regard to the Italian games of chance market, what is the current situation?
The whole market saw a decrease of revenues in the late spring to summer period, whereas now there's a post-covid consolidation regarding game of chance. This shows a great retention capacity of the online portion of the market, even after the reopenings of physical casinos.
In your view, What perspectives do you foresee for the near future in Italy?
We think that there will be an increase of retail providers that will move online and also new foreign online providers that will enter the Italian market. We do think there's still a significant growth margin for the online gambling market.
What are the main goals of the company for 2022?
We would like to have a confirmation of the Italian market's growth trend, we want to keep entering new regulated markets, we're aiming at Spanish and Portuguese markets. And of course we want to close more exclusive deals regarding the distribution of Slotbar® products.
