Betcris adds new Country Manager in Peru

As the company expands and maintain its role in Latin American’s gaming industry, it is adding key positions to fulfill its missions, and the latest comes through the appointment of Ana María Padrós, who will now be the Country Manager of Peru for Betcris.

Padrós enters her new position at a time when Betcris is seeing significant growth and expanded opportunities throughout Latin America. Her knowledge and experience in the gaming industry, including a substantial career at International Game Technology, will prove invaluable to the operator’s short- and long-term growth strategies.

The newly-appointed Country Manager asserts, “I am surrounded by a great team of very capable professionals, with whom we will work and implement the 2022 strategic plan. The country has great growth potential, the pandemic has boosted online transactions in general and sports betting, as a form of entertainment, is no exception. According to the latest visibility study published in a prestigious business newspaper in the country, there are more than six million potential bettors for the current year, and I believe that this is just beginning.”

Betcris has long been recognized by the gaming industry for the position it has maintained in advancing Latin America’s gaming efforts across the entire region. Innovation on a number of levels, including operations and administration, has been key to ensuring that the company is able to stay focused on developing a transparent industry that is able to serve as a guide for new operators and companies entering the space. Betcris’ position also affords it the leverage to develop an integrity-driven market that is beneficial equally for players and operators.

Padrós adds that Betcris has to “make sure that the pillars for a satisfactory ‘customer journey’ are well established and then we must offer something unique, making sure of course to take the brand to all corners of the country. There are only two months left in 2021, a time in which we must plan for what’s ahead. In parallel, we continue to strengthen our processing chain to make access to deposits and withdrawals easier and easier for our clients. Betcris is characterized by being a serious and reliable bookmaker. Our goal is to strengthen that image further and also offer a differentiated product. In 2022, that will be our challenge.”
