(Bogota).- The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit issued decree 0689 of May 5, 2023 where it appointed Sammy Libos Zúñiga, president of Coljuegos.
Sammy Libos Zuñiga is an economist from the Universidad de los Andes, with a master's degree in Economics from the same university. Currently, he is the Deputy Director of Fiscal Policy of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, an entity in which he has served as an advisor since 2016 in positions such as Real Sector Advisor and Tax Policy Advisor.
He has worked as a researcher at ECON Estudio on issues of public policy consulting and competition policy, and a consultant at the Development Center of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), an entity that serves as a knowledge center for data collection and analysis, exchange of experiences and good public policy practices.
He has taught several university courses, covering macroeconomics, regulation and competition, and issues related to the implementation of public policies.
