IGT Achieves Improved Score by Global Environmental Non-Prot CDP for Environmental Performance

(London).- International Game Technology PLC ("IGT") (NYSE: IGT) announced today that it received a 'B' score in climate change from global environmental non-prot CDP, recognizing IGT for demonstrating improved environmental disclosure and performance. IGT received a higher-than average score compared to other information technology and software development companies.
"Over the years IGT has made great strides to significantly increase our environmental efforts, understanding that it is our responsibility to develop action plans to reduce our carbon footprint," said Wendy Montgomery, IGT SVP, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability.
“IGT's commitment to climate change extends to our customers and their sustainable operations. This assessment from CDP assures all stakeholders that we continue to advance the Company through our steadfast commitment to sustainability.”
Formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, CDP's B score recognizes IGT for taking coordinated actions on climate issues and represents an improvement from the Company's 2021 score.
Within CDP's assessment, IGT excelled in several categories, including governance oversight and emission reduction initiatives.
CDP gathers information through an annual reporting process and assesses companies across the globe, inviting companies to share their progress and actions by disclosing on climate change, forests and water security.
Companies that receive a B score have addressed the environmental impacts of their business and ensure good environmental management.
