Pragmatic Pay awarded Gibraltar licence
⏱ 1 min read
(Malta).- Pragmatic Play, a leading multi-product content provider to the iGaming industry, offering innovative, regulated and mobile-focused gaming products, has been granted a B2B supplier licence by the Government of Gibraltar
The Casino (B2B) licence will allow Gibraltar-licenced operators to integrate Pragmatic Play’s thriving portfolio of games, including the award-winning Wolf Gold, and recent popular releases such as Da Vinci’s Treasure and Ancient Egypt Classic.
Melissa Summerfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Gibraltar is a renowned jurisdiction and this licence represents a crucial step for us as we move ahead with our strategy to make our award-winning products available to regulated markets worldwide.
“We have already found great success in markets such as Italy, Portugal and Spain, and we definitely look forward to delivering our recognised portfolio of games to the major Gibraltar-based iGaming operators.”
Approval in Gibraltar is only the latest step in Pragmatic Play’s plans for ambitious expansion. In the last quarter, the provider has significantly increased its footprint in Europe, signing deals with reputable operators PokerStars, Kindred Group and Casumo.
After recently acquiring Extreme Live Gaming, Pragmatic Play has also invested in the live casino vertical to further enhance an expanding product portfolio of video slots, scratchcards and bingo.
