(Philippines).- Philippines integrated resort Solaire Resort & Casino says it has completed full vaccinations of all rostered staff and is now preparing to vaccinate their families as part of its ongoing COVID-19 health and safety program.

Solaire says all rostered staff now fully vaccinated

The initiative, put together in partnership with International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) – the global ports giant also owned by the company’s Chairman and CEO Enrique K Razon Jr – was launched on 28 June 2021 and saw part of The Theatre at Solaire converted into a vaccination center supporting both drive-thru and on-site appointments.

With doses of the Moderna vaccine provided free of charge to each staff member plus five of their dependents, Solaire said all team members are now fully vaccinated and appointments are being scheduled for dependents to receive their first dose.

Solaire said implementation of its vaccination scheme, in partnership with strict health and safety protocols as highlighted in its “Solaire Is Safe For You” campaign, “is an act of social responsibility during a time when the public sector needs the assistance of the private sector the most.”

The strong progress of Solaire’s vaccination drive comes as other Entertainment City IRs this week also outlined their own plans to vaccinate employees for free. Both Okada Manila and City of Dreams Manila have confirmed they will launch campaigns this month with the intention of having all team members vaccinated by 4Q21, while Resorts World Manila says its program is already well underway.

The initiatives come as the Philippines prepares to reimplement its strictest Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) measures for two weeks from 6 August to combat the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant.
