(Puerto Rico).- The Gaming Commission has a term of 60 days to approve the Regulations for the Issuance, Management and Inspection of Gaming Machine Licenses.
The legislature approved the approval of the Concurrent Resolution of the Senate to reject the regulation presented by the Gaming Commission.

Prior to its approval, the former chamber president for the New Progressive Party (PNP), José Aponte Hernández, spent a turn speaking out against it. Meanwhile, in the Senate, the PNP delegation cast an explanatory vote in favor, and the senator for the Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP), María de Lourdes Santiago Negrón, cast an explanatory vote against.
