(Brasilia) - The Department of Prizes and Games of the Ministry of Finance (SPA-MF) signed this Friday (25/4) a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), an entity specialised in integrated integrity and compliance solutions for sports, sports betting, gaming and iGaming.
The first four ACT agreements were signed in October 2024, all with organisations whose work in monitoring the sector is recognised globally. The agreement with Integrity Compliance 360 will last five years and can be expanded for new purposes. The organisation has expertise in identifying suspicious betting movements, helping to identify and contain attempts to manipulate results.
Like the other partner institutions, IC360 will exchange information with the SPA about the betting market and will help qualify the Secretariat's teams. "Integrity organisations like IC360 play a fundamental role in supporting the SPA's activities, especially in identifying signs of match-fixing, as well as in the structured exchange of information. With this agreement, both the SPA and the partner integrity bodies expand their monitoring and inspection capabilities, promoting greater security and transparency in the sector," said Regis Dudena, the Ministry of Finance's Secretary for Prizes and Betting, reaffirming the Ministry's commitment to the integrity of the betting market and the protection of the Brazilian sports environment.
IC360's Chief Operating Officer, Scott Sadin, considered it an honour to enter into the agreement with SPA to improve the integrity awareness and monitoring capabilities of the Brazilian market. ‘The mission is to foster a culture of responsibility and provide a detection alert system for all stakeholders to ensure that integrity is respected and sustainable for the Brazilian community,’ he said.
The agreement does not provide for transfers of resources or payments from either party. The emphasis of the initiative is to strengthen the security of the entire system, protecting the betting market, sport and society as a whole.
